Bound by the Rules “I was called by the Lord at around June 2014. I then studied Calvinism; yet women ordination is disallowed at orthodox church. I didn’t care about that at the beginning, but when His call got more assuring half a year later, I had to come out from my mother church to run and pastor my new pan. Starting from 2-3 people, I got no financial support, no co-workers. Squeezed by the pressure, I pastored the church […]

Religious Difference “I was introduced to my girlfriend through the church. Having known each other for more than four months, I gradually realise that she does not have any feeling for me. I learnt that her ex-boyfriend was very good to her and they felt deeply for each other. They broke up because they had different religious beliefs. She does not feel any love for me. She met her ex-boyfriend recently and they were still entangled in the issue of […]

Rev. Paul Cham has served on the Board of FEBC Hong Kong for 37 years (1983-2020) and as the Board Chair since 2004. His faithful and committed attitude has become a model for all of us. In the morning of November 20, Rev. Cham passed away into the presence of God. Just two days before, he was with us attending the FEBC quarterly prayer meeting for China and led us in the closing prayer. His departure was both unexpected and […]

Grab My Heart “I want my elder and younger brothers to believe in Christ very much. I am grateful to the Lord for His mercy, caused by my brain tumour surgery, has subsided considerably. I have always hoped that I can do my best for God’s Kingdom. However, I have only followed the Lord for a very short time and I am afraid that I will bring Him shame. Every time I listen to the radio program, I am particularly […]

Grace Perpetual: As the year draws to a close, can our heart – amid a global pandemic – echo the bible verse saying, “You have crowned the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with fatness.”? While the pandemic is causing the world inconveniences in every way – not to mention the drastic downtrend in the economy – we cannot help but ask God if His grace can truly be found? To us as God’s people, we really do […]

Still Learning “In the process of partnership learning, not only can I gain the confidence in learning, I see also the presence of God within. In the class, we cheer each other on. In addition to studying hard together, we also inspire and remind one another of our own deficiencies. After realizing the power of God, my faith grows and I surrender my sovereignty to the Lord. Thank God to let me open to new challenges and may there be […]

Becoming a Fugitive “My youngest uncle was smart. He was among the top ten of the experimental middle school in our city. He dropped out because of the poor family background. The principal was willing to help my uncle complete his study; my uncle gave up his study but chose to work. Unfortunately, he beat his boss to death impulsively since they quarreled over the wages his boss owed him. My uncle has become a fugitive for 23 years. My […]

A Thank You Note “My spiritual growth is inseparable from Liangyou. I would like to thank the program host for being by my side when I was weak. I was divorced before I was converted. After my conversion, I was still weak in the flesh. However, after learning from the host that this was sin, I prayed to God and asked Him to give me the strength to overcome my lustful desire. Now I will still be weak occasionally. I […]

Program Effectiveness: The program “This is the Day” started broadcasting in 2016. In it, listeners have been encouraged to memorize Bible verses from week to week, and now have accumulated 205 verses altogether. Listeners who call in to recite verses range from 2 to 80 years of age, from individuals to families of several generations, and occasionally we get a church group of over 100 people reciting in unison.
