To Let Go
“In the past, my daughter and I would kneel together to pray, and we were very close. But later, she became addicted to her phone and the internet, her grades plummeted. Every time we talked, we ended up arguing. One day, a host on Radio Liangyou said that we should try to understand our children and stop using the same parenting method we used when they were little. By God’s marvelous grace, once I learned to let go, the change in my daughter became evident. I no longer treat her merely as a daughter but as a close friend. My daughter has also started praying on her own and joined the church’s youth choir. I thank God for using the Liangyou’s program to teach me and help me grow.”

Centralized Cooling
The heat is unbearable, with the highest temperature in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, exceeding 35°C. Yet the indoor temperature in residential buildings remains below 26°C even without air conditioning. This coolness comes from beneath the floor, where low-temperature water flowing through underfloor heating pipes provides radiant floor cooling. The “coolness” enjoyed by residents in their homes comes from the now-closed Woniushan Coal Mine in the area. Although the mine has been shut down, the water accumulated in the mine shafts remains at around 19°C year-round and flows continuously, serving as a natural “coolant.” This system reduces energy consumption by approximately 50%.

- Thank the Lord for blessing the researchers at the heating company with the wisdom to devise a way to use the existing geothermal system for cooling. May the relevant technology prove successful in trials and be rolled out to other regions in the future.
Lisu Church
Before Sunday worship, believers began arriving at the church, and the congregation consists mainly of Lisu people. Several older brothers were resting quietly; having likely walked quite a distance, they were taking a brief rest before the service. They are the fruit of the early missionaries’ labor. Two brothers, both over seventy, shared that they regularly go out to preach the Gospel, and in the past six months, they have led more than ten people to the Lord. God the Father continues to watch over the Lisu church, and believers remain passionate about carrying on the work of the missionaries.
- May the Lord have mercy on the Lisu believers in remote mountainous areas. Faced with a rapidly changing societal environment, the younger generation has gone out to work, and many have been unable to find a church, leaving their spiritual lives in a state of deep decline. May the Lord move the pastors to have a burden and a strategy to help young believers hold fast to their faith.

- Unchanged Mission: Throughout Radio Liangyou’s 77-year history, we have witnessed different technological breakthroughs, yet we have consistently upheld our vision of spreading the Gospel through media. Even as the formats and platforms change, our mission remains unchanged. Our staff continually explores new listening platforms to continue serving our listeners through diverse channels.
- Online Learning: Even when the platforms are unstable, students persist in registering for courses and taking exams through alternative channels. Our staff also seeks to engage with students through online activities, asking the Lord to grant wisdom in selecting topics that meet their needs, and their spiritual lives are nourished.
