A Challenging Mission

“As a believer for 20 years, God has led me every step of the way. I have pursued theological studies and been equipped with missionary skills. More than a decade ago, God called me to minister to Muslims, and the calling has been deeply felt ever since. Grateful that God opened a way for me to go to the Middle East as a missionary. I had been facing hardships on every front. Serving on the mission field brought intense spiritual, cross-cultural and physical strain. After a period of hesitation and waiting, I set out once again with my husband and our child who was only a few months old. We have formed a team and established a support center for refugee children. Being used by God is the greatest grace of all.”

(Sister Ge)

  • May God will strengthen Sister Ge and her family in their calling, grant them a united team and strength to face the challenges on the mission field. Pray that God will provide resources, keep them safe.

Education Trap

The media has disclosed a number of malpractices in the counselling market of the postgraduate entry examinations. Some institutions, under the guise of “inter-institutional collaboration”, recruit students using the lure of “guaranteed pass or your money back” which is in fact suspected false advertising. What is more deceptive is the profit-making logic hidden beneath the “refund promise”. These institutions publicly claim “75% refund if not admitted”, deliberately watering down the core clause that deducts a 25% service fee by euphemistically referring to this charge as “institutional integration costs”. The Advertising Law explicitly stipulates that educational and training ads are precluded from making promises to guarantee examination success or the acquisition of educational qualifications.

(“Beijing Youth Daily”, July 10, 2026)

  • Pray for the employment challenges faced by young people. May the relevant authorities impose heavy penalties on institutions engaging in false advertising and stop profiting from the sale of false hope.

Spiritual Guidance

“A third-year university student, I am unsure whether to pursue postgraduate studies. Feeling quite unhappy with my current major, I am considering choosing a subject I truly like for postgraduate study but have no idea what to choose. I have been praying, but so far I have no clear understanding. However, the Holy Spirit has shown me that I do not have firm will and attach myself too much to the opinions of others. Feeling torn and wavering when others speak. May God help me not to be swayed by external opinions. May God lead me back to the Bible and align my heart with His will. Hope that I can become a vessel that glorifies God directing my every daily action toward His praise.”

(Brother Cui)

  • May God guide Brother Cui to have a clear sense of purpose regarding his postgraduate studies. Pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to guide him on his profession to become God’s instrument.

Phone Number Reuse

“Phone number reuse” means after a user deactivates a phone number, the telecom provider will wait a period of time and put the recycled number back into circulation. Reporters have found that a large number of mobile phone owners are deeply troubled by this arrangement. New owners are passively exposed to all the private histories and messages of original owners, while the original owners face private data leaks. The rights of both groups of users are compromised. Experts recommend new users to perform a thorough account review and unlink previous original owners’ profiles from major apps to secure their digital privacy when inheriting a recycled phone number. Any person who accidentally logs into someone else’s account should log out immediately and do not save or browse any data.

(“Procuratorial Daily”, July 13, 2026)

  • Many users are troubled by the problems of phone number reuse. May God give the relevant authorities wisdom to resolve the issue of unlinked numbers by developing a more comprehensive method.

Gospel Broadcasting

  1. Network Disruptions: Recently, access to various Radio Liangyou and Liangyou Theological Seminary platforms and program links has been down. Pray that the Lord makes a way for our listeners and keeps them strong in Him. The App we are developing is now in its final testing phase; pray for a smooth launch and that it will run flawlessly so listeners can tune in with ease.
  2. Fruitful Meetings: A series of meetings took place in July, including the FEBC International Leadership Training, the Chinese Ministry AI Application Symposium, and the Chinese Program Directors’ Meeting. May the Lord use the fruits of these discussions to drive our ministry forward, so more people can experience the blessings of the Gospel.
