My Grace is Sufficient

“I was diagnosed with ALS more than 20 years ago. Plunging into a dark period, I was devoid of hope and direction. Then Jesus came and chose me. Having a simple trust in the power of God, I believed that I would be healed by Him. However, all hope seemed lost as time went on. Yet it was hopeful that God was working behind the scene to guide. When I looked back on my life, I saw where Jesus had taken me. He prepared an online fellowship for me and gave me a caring and affectionate husband. God did not make things work out according to my thoughts. His thoughts are higher than ours. My life has been completely transformed. I am more convinced than ever that God is the essence of faith and the source of life.”

Eldercare Robots

What do eldercare robots look like encountering an aging population? Chess-playing robots featuring mechanical arms help the elderly play chess against online opponents. Intelligent turning air beds that do not look like robots help bedridden elderly adjust their postures. Psychological intelligent machines capturing the details of facial expressions analyze the health of the testers. Domestic robots that act as assistants feature more than 30 functions such as interactive entertainment, health monitoring, answering calls. We need to realize the in-depth integration of technology and elderly care by providing assistance to the aging population with a combination of ageing in place and institutional care.

Miao Pastors

The Miao Gospel Ministry was founded on the efforts of British missionary Samuel Pollard in Shimenkan, Guizhou in the early 20th century. Through the translation of the Miao Bible and the establishment of schools and hospitals, he sparked a profound cultural and religious transformation among the Miao people. The Miao church once flourished in Guizhou and grew rapidly with a large number of believers. As times changed, Miao believers have gradually become more secularized, while pastors who remain faithful to the Lord’s commission have experienced significant stress.
