Victory Through Christ
“I’m a high school student who was baptized last year. During my second year, I was diagnosed with moderate depression and anxiety. My grandma and mother brought me to church. The pastor laid hands on me and prayed for me many times. The brothers and sisters encouraged me to sing hymns and listen to sermons. By God’s grace, I overcame it; the depression and anxiety are gone. Radio Liangyou was also a huge help during that time; your programs were a great source of encouragement. One thing still bothers me, though. I went through a phase where I struggled with impure thoughts. I even felt afraid when thinking about Jesus. I know I should rely on God, but I feel so weak. Please pray for me.”
(Brother Wang)
- Lord, please give Brother Wang continued strength and peace. Help him rely fully on Your grace as he faces depression and anxiety. May he find true comfort and freedom in the Lord Jesus.
Flat Braille
Recently, netizens discovered that the Braille on a signboard aboard a high-speed train was printed flat, rendering it impossible to perceive through touch. While Braille markings on some high-speed trains feature clear and raised dots, others exhibit ‘flat Braille’. The flat Braille’s achievement of navigating through hurdles of design, construction and acceptance inspection reveals not only the lax enforcement of standards, but also a grave disregard of users’ demands. Accessibility facilities are an important touchstone of social civilization. Strict oversight of construction standards and inspection procedures is imperative to eliminate tokenistic installations and functional deficiencies, thereby genuinely enhancing public convenience and human well-being.

- Pray that the authorities will adopt a user-centered approach to strengthen the construction inspections and acceptance procedures, and urge contractors to adhere strictly to design specifications.
The Mongolian Bible
Missionary Stuart Gunzel of the Scandinavian Alliance Mission departed Inner Mongolia in 1949 for Hong Kong to undertake Mongolian literary work on Lantau Island. He translated and revised the Mongolian New Testament and part of the Old Testament, compiled an English-Mongolian dictionary and a grammar book. He mailed Bibles to Mongolia and contributed to the Mongolian broadcasts of FEBC Korea. 8,000 copies of the revised Mongolian New Testament were published by the Hong Kong Bible Society in 1953. With the assistance of Doris Ekblad Olson who was a missionary’s daughter born in Mongolia, the colloquial Mongolian New Testament was completed in 2000. The German Mongolian Mission also translated Genesis and Psalms into colloquial Mongolian, and 10,000 copies were published in 2004.
- God’s Word has been translated into the Mongolian on multiple occasions. It is understood that there is also official church-led translation ministry in Inner Mongolia. May the Lord bless these Mongolian Bibles and lead more Mongolians to Him.
Gospel Broadcasting
- Broadcast Theme 2026: The theme for Radio Liangyou in 2026 is “Living in Hope”, encouraging listeners to not only find comfort in hope but also to share this hope from God as a blessing with others. Pray for the content preparation and operational coordination of the entire station and program teams.
- Playing to Our Strengths: We are grateful for the opportunity of Liangyou Theological Seminary to collaborate with various organizations and teachers in preparing and compiling the content and courses on diverse topics. May God use the expertise and gifts of each partner to ensure that all programs can meet the spiritual and ministerial needs of our students.
