In the Likeness of Christ
“I have always desired to share the gospel. Yet, I thought that only when there was acceptance and trust could the message of salvation be shared. Scripture says we are to ‘live peaceably with all,’ but this peace is not about pleasing others deceitfully. Rather, it is about treating others sincerely, with dignity and equality. In practice, this is very difficult. First, I need my eyes opened by God, to see things from His perspective. My mindset must be adjusted by Him—this is part of His healing work in me. Only by following Scripture and treating others with Christ’s heart and emotions can I truly love them; without God’s grace, this is impossible. I must be emptied of myself and become a vessel for His use, so that in all things God is glorified and others are blessed.”

Fingerprint-secured Bottle
Recently, a product called “Children’s Fingerprint-bottle” has sparked discussions online. Many brands have taken advantage of the back-to-school season to promote it and its sales have already exceeded ten thousand units. Parents buy these bottles mainly to monitor their children’s water intake, and to prevent them from sharing bottles with others. However, investigations reveal that these so-called “high-tech” bottles often malfunction: fingerprint locks fail to open, batteries refuse to charge, and warranty services are poor. Long-term use also raises concerns with cleaning, leaks, and potential electrical hazards. What was meant to protect children often ends up being more troublesome instead.

- Pray that parents would purchase school supplies wisely, according to the real needs, and not out of fad. May manufacturers produce safe and useful products to truly benefit children, rather than create electronic waste for the sake of market hype.
Pressing Prayer
A co-worker who once served among the Uyghurs for many years received a letter which was personally delivered on behalf of believers from many different places, expressing deep gratitude for the gospel seeds that had been sown among them in earlier years. They mentioned the nearly disastrous days they had experienced, feeling like forgotten orphans, but after the storms passed, they deeply felt that God’s hand had never shortened, ensuring that their hope would not be put to shame. The seeds sown in the past are gradually bearing fruit, anticipating a bountiful harvest. The letters also called for more earnest intercession.
- Though many workers were once driven away, they remained faithful, and now their labor is bearing fruit. May this letter rekindle fading zeal and remind us to pray more earnestly for the hidden Uyghur believers. May the Lord’s mighty arm uphold them in every place, strengthening their faith and life, so that their witness brings glory to Him.
Gospel Broadcasting
- Theology Learning: The four programs of Liangyou Theological Seminary (Navigation & Lay Training I, II & III) are designed according to varying levels and learning goals to provide believers with well-rounded training. We pray that these courses will continue to be renewed and developed in step with the times, and that believers will remain steadfast in completing each stage of their equipping.
- Staff Adaptation: In recent months, several colleagues have either joined the ministry or taken on new roles. Pray that the Lord will help them quickly adapt, integrate into the team, and make full use of their gifts in response to His calling. Please also remember the ongoing need for additional production staff, asking God to provide suitable workers for the gospel broadcasting ministry.
