Transformed by the Lord
“I used to be caught up in business, which led to significant tensions in my family relationship. Later, I searched within myself for reasons and earnestly confessed before God. I no longer had strict demands on my daughter, learning to accept her. I stopped all of my daughter’s extracurricular activities, allowing her to play freely and leaving her schedule in God’s hands. As a family, we spent weekends outdoors connecting with nature and attended church together on Sundays. Every day, I prayed, read the Bible, and sang hymns with my child. Gradually, my daughter began to smile more brightly, singing praise songs willingly. My husband and I also grew closer as we centered our family around God.”
(Sister He)
- The Lord did not let Sister He pursue things apart from Him. When she courageously made changes by relying on the Lord, her family relationship improved. May the Lord continue to bless this family and use them as a beautiful testimony.
No Overtime
Reports have recently highlighted efforts to address “involuted” competition, which includes excessive price wars between companies, disorderly expansion, and even counterproductive internal conflicts within organizations. Some companies have launched “no overtime” policies, requiring employees to leave work by 9 pm, with special approval needed for exceptions. In the past, employees often extended their hours to appear “diligent,” but this culture of overwork was ultimately wasteful for both workers and businesses. Adequate rest is essential for fostering creativity and maintaining insight.
(“Worker’s Daily”, March 12, 2025)
- Thank the Lord that the issue of overwork is being recognized. May relevant departments strengthen monitoring of companies to ensure compliance with regulations. When workers receive fair wages and rest, their enthusiasm for work can flourish, contributing to more harmonious labor relations.
God’s Grace Among the Mongols
As early as the 7th century, the gospel was brought to the Mongolians by Nestorian missionaries. Through their efforts, many Mongolians embraced Christianity. By 1007 AD, there were an estimated 200,000 Mongolian believers. In 1368, there were about 30,000 registered Mongolian Catholics. The 13th & 14th centuries marked a peak period of Mongolians turning to Christ. In the 19th century, Swedish missionaries sowed seeds of faith among the Mongolians. In 1891, 50 Swedish-American youths attended a Bible mission class, moved by the Holy Spirit to dedicate themselves to spreading the gospel in China. They later formed the first wave of missionaries sent by the Scandinavian Alliance Mission. Several years later, during the Boxer Rebellion, 12 missionaries (seven adults and five children) were killed while fleeing the chaos.
- God loves the Mongolians. Today, it is estimated that there are 60,000 Mongolian Christians, shepherded by dedicated pastors. May the Lord continue to pour out His grace and call more Mongols to Himself.
