Changed By The Lord

“My mother led me to the belief in Jesus when I was young. But I felt bitter very much and could not get out of my predicament. I did not know how to manage my marriage. My life has been in chaos which have led to my divorce. My mother keeps praying for me. Later, I have heard your program which has completely changed my life. I come to realize that I have been too rebellious and that my behavior has been no different from those non-believers. I have made up my mind to follow the Lord Jesus closely and manage my current marriage well no matter how painful and hard it would be. People around me have also noted that I am different from before.”

(Sister Tian)

  • Although Sister Tian once felt lost, the Lord’s hands have never left her. Thank God for her determination to become a new creation. May the Lord continue to help her.

Spreading Rumors

Recently, a speech statement has attracted widespread attention. It said, “By the end of 2024, the mortality rate of those born in the 1980s has exceeded 5.2%, meaning that one in every 20 people born in the 1980s has died.” Some netizens took the opportunity to spread rumors, incite negative emotions and sell health products. According to an official investigation, a netizen named as “Teacher Xia in Shanghai” posted a video with fabricated information, becoming the source of the rumors. Some netizens have also fabricated a series of rumors, causing adverse effects. At present, the public security institute has imposed penalties on three persons including Xia. The police remind that spreading rumors may be illegal. Even if it does not constitute a crime, administrative penalties will be imposed.

Gospel Films

“I am a blessed Christian and a filmmaker with a mission to evangelize through films. I have been learning and practicing in the film and television industry for the past 20 years. I have shot some award-winning film and television works. Last year, the Holy Spirit placed the vision of gospel films in my heart. Currently I have had a script and I am preparing for it. But there are great challenges in terms of conditions and resources. I firmly believe that if God is pleased, He will certainly open a way. Please pray for us. Pray that the Lord will personally establish the work in our hands, and use our films to spread the gospel and witness the love of Christ!”

(Brother Jiang)

  • May the Lord prepare all kinds of resources so that Brother Jiang can start filming smoothly. Also pray and he can spread the Lord’s love through media, becoming a ray of light in the dark era.

Paper Consumption Vouchers

This year “Two Sessions” proposed issuing integrated online and offline consumption vouchers; and setting up collection points of paper consumption vouchers in shopping malls and community service centers, etc. to facilitate the elderly who cannot use smartphones. Initially, consumption vouchers appeared in paper form. With the advancement of technology, e-vouchers have accounted for the majority. However, it may not be “user-friendly” to all parties. Many elderly people are not familiar with the operation of smartphones They may find themselves in embarrassing situations where they “can’t get it” or “don’t know how to use it.” Traditional paper consumption vouchers cannot be completely abolished. But they need to be further upgraded and optimized to better play their role.

(“Workers Daily”, March 12, 2025)

  • May God grant the government the wisdom and ability to improve the issuance of consumption vouchers. Also pray that the Lord will give the elderly more comprehension so that they are willing to learn new things and can enjoy the convenience.
