Valued by God

“My life was chosen by God from my mother’s womb. At that time, family planning was implemented and the concerned department asked my mother to get sterilized. Then she was found to have been pregnant. As my mother dedicated me to the Lord, I have been led by God for more than 30 years. God has given me a pious Christian wife. My job has been even more blessed by God. I major in accounting. I once refused my boss’ request in making false accounts. I would rather not get the job than offend God. In this way, I passed the trial from the boss. He later promoted me to manager and gave me shares. Putting God first in life will not bring about a loss.”

(Brother Wu)

  • Brother Wu lives out the glory of the Lord in the workplace. Those who respect the Lord will be respected by Him. May the Lord continue to lead him in the workplace.

Improving Medical Insurance

Recently, the Beijing Municipal Medical Security Bureau has issued a reimbursement policy for “improving the medical insurance for Chinese herbal formula granules.” In order to support the clinical standardized management of Chinese herbal formula granules, enhance rational use of Chinese medicines, increase the efficiency of using the medical insurance fund, the policy has formulated the standards of medical insurance payment for 200 types of these granules. Patients and the medical insurance fund will share the costs in accordance with the policy. Medical insurance departments at all levels should optimize and adjust their information systems in a timely manner, and regard the quality of granule data as an important part of the daily supervision.

(“The Beijing News”, February 9, 2025)

  • Pray that the new policy can protect people’s health and raise the efficiency of using the medical insurance fund. And all supervisory authorities will implement the policy with integrity so that citizens will enjoy high-quality and affordable herbal treatment.

Caring Kham People

The Kham people form a branch of the Tibetan ethnic group. They live in the Hengduan mountainous area. It includes the Qamdo area in Tibet, the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and the Muli County of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan, the Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan, and the Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai. In recent years, Chinese churches have sent co-workers to make efforts in these areas and lead the Kham Tibetans to the faith in the Lord. These people are deeply rooted in their culture and life, but some gospel fruits borne after years of hard work. Shepherding Kham believers is very challenging. Some of them appear to be very spiritual, but they actually seek material or financial benefits.

  • Pray for the missionaries who pay efforts silently. Ask the Lord to offer them love, perseverance and persistence so that they can be faithful. It is also grateful to find that the churches in the areas are able to shoulder the mission and actively train young people to participate in missionary services.

Gospel Broadcasting

  1. Thru the Bible: The five-year “Thru the Bible” Bible study program will officially finish at the end of March. Recording of the sermons has been completed. The remaining procedures are the program host’s recording and the post-production mixing. Thanks should go to the hard work of the program team and the support of our ministry partners. These can bring solid biblical explanations to our listeners and also help believers understand the essence of Christian truth. Many listeners have benefited greatly from this.
  2. Extended Learning: Liangyou Theological Seminary has launched an extended learning program “Lay Training Program III” to train students how to answer questions in a written text form. It is hoped that through the step-by-step guidance, students will be able to master the structure and layout of articles.
