A Breakthrough from God

“I met a girl online and had been dating her for over a year. Things were good at the beginning. She would share her problems with me. However, she has gradually gone cold and distant on me. I do not know what is going wrong. Being an introvert, I am not good at communicating with others. I can’t let go of this relationship. Not young, I want to get married and have a stable family life. I have examined and processed myself in my first broken marriage and identified many problems. I pray and get strength from God to change little by little. Learning about marriage and parenting, I want to have a second marriage and be a good husband. Do not want to let go, yet I wish she can meet a man who loves God and has a happy marriage.”

(Brother Hu)

  • God will be happy that brother Hu has reflected on himself. May God help brother Hu make more breakthroughs to overcome introversion and get prepared for a marriage.

Seven-day Refund

Mr. Han spent RMB 20,000 to buy “lucky bag” products online. He unpacked the “lucky bag” online and then applied for “return”. Subsequently a lawsuit was started. There is a rising trend in these cases. In accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Law, when sellers sell goods through the internet, television, telephone, or mail order, consumers have the right to return the goods within seven days from the date of receipt without a reason. However, fresh perishables and digitized goods such as online downloads or unpackaged audio and video products, computer software, etc. are excluded from this right. Disputes easily arise between operators and consumers due to issues such as whether the returning item is “intact” or whether only “unpacked” items can be returned.

(“People’s Daily”, April 1, 2024)

  • May God help consumers spend wisely by learning more about the relevant policy to protect their rights and stop abusing the return rules. May God guide the operators to run their business with probity to uphold the order of a fair market.

The Miao People Rise

It is always said that the pastors of Da Hua Miao (Big Flowery Miao) have felt so helpless for the secular Miao Christians and missed the good old days when missionaries had come and sowed the seeds of the Gospel and established many churches. A pastor from Da Hua Miao invited Christians to pray for the young believers of Miao churches and their parents. Children of many Christians are reluctant to go to church. May God give us grace and let us become aware of the importance of bringing children to God. Thank God for His guidance and leadership regarding the translation of a book on the basic concepts of the Bible by collaborative efforts of a number of pastors of Da Hua Miao to help believers study biblical truths. Upon completion of proofreading, the audio version of the book is ready for downloading and listening by Miao believers through the digital platform.

  • Please pray for the effort of the pastors of Da Hua Miao as they have nurtured and trained the young believers under these limited circumstances. Also pray for the copy and distribution of the audio book. May God use this book to build the spirituality of Miao believers in Christ.
