“My child has been diagnosed with ADHD and has gone to various hospitals for treatment. I myself have tried to learn how to accompany such child to grow up. I am so stressed when I face his studies. He is unwilling to learn. He is not interested in doing many things. But he is very concentrated on program designing. I know that a child like this may not be capable of doing many things. I have also accompanied and encouraged him with love. But I do not know how to fully accept him. Seeing his situation, I am still very helpless. I think that he has been wasting time in studying. - It is really not easy to bring up a kid with special needs. Please ask the Lord to help Sister Huang. Pray that she will have great patience and love to help her son grow up and allow his unique gifts continue to develop.
Energy Base Disaster
A fire with explosion occurred at Ningdong Energy and Chemical Engineering Base in Ningxia at the end of January. The cause of the accident is under investigation. The total planned area of Ningdong Base is 4,450 square kilometers, and the core region is approximately 800 square kilometers. There are large-scale coal production and coal chemical industry bases, and China’s demonstration area of industrial transformation and upgrading. At the end of October last year, a fixed sewage storage tank of a cleaning company in the chemical engineering base suddenly caught fire. A total of four employees were missing in the accident. After a search and rescue operation, there was no trace of life. The cause of the accident is also under further investigation.

- May the Lord have compassion on and comfort those injured and their families. Please pray for the Lord’s justice to ensure that the accident will be investigated painstakingly. Also ask the Lord to help the government formulate regulatory policies so as to prevent further accidents from happening.
Hidden Ministries
Many years ago, we met a Christian brother involving in the bible translation for ethnic minorities. He came out of his remote hometown so as to temporarily leave a place full of stress. Recently we met again on another occasion. Thank God. He has remained faithful to the mission over the years. He has also seized the opportunity to equip himself in order to better serve his own group. Furthermore, many mainland believers have emerged for the past few years. They have no fear of hardships and go to places of ethnic minorities where the gospel has not reached. They may face a certain amount of pressure. It is not easy to see results within a short period of time. They are still committed to their mission flexibly but persistently in order to bear fruits for the Lord.
- Please support these co-workers with your prayers. They have served in a hidden way in remote areas. They continue to serve deftly, care the disadvantaged and offer discipleship training. May the Lord protect and strengthen them.
Benefits of Blood Donors
The Law of Wuhan City on Blood Donation, effective from June 2023, stipulates that blood donors who meet the specified requirements, donors of haematopoietic stem cells and voluntary donors of blood and haematopoietic stem cells qualify for “three-exemption”, i.e. free visit of parks and some scenic spots, free registration and out-patient clinic consultation in public hospitals and free rides on some public transport. The National Health Committee has published to encourage implementation of the “three-exemption” policy for blood donation in all regions. According to the reporters’ study, the above policy has been implemented in nine provinces. Qingdao has even upgraded the “three-exemption” to “four-exemption” through provision of a free annual basic medical check-up at local community health service centers to encourage blood donation.

- Transmission through Internet: The platforms such as the Radio Liangyou website and Liangyou Walkman are still unaffected in an environment where the Internet is restricted and highly regulated. They can continue to serve our listeners. We dare not boast since this is all God’s grace. “I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.” (Revelation 3:8)
- Training for Workers: The cumulative number of students admitted to Liangyou Theological Seminary to take traditional courses has exceeded 20,000 over the past years. The cumulative number of graduates has reached more than 5,000 as at the end of 2023. Currently the number of registered users of the self-study platform exceeds 40,000. Moreover, the co-workers need to learn more about the platform users in the future. The courses will also be updated as needed. Ask God to provide financial needs and manpower for the future development.
