Act Courageously
“My relationship with my husband has deteriorated significantly. The emotional abuse has persisted for a long time, upsetting me deeply. Reflecting on my past, I have realized I failed to understand him who is not a Christian. For instance, I refused to let him engage in certain practices such as accepting kickbacks when soliciting business, and stopped him from participating in superstitious activities. Christian faith has increasingly disgusted him. He stops me from attending church. I have asked God to give me wisdom and change myself. Yet I am scared by his short-temper. May the Lord help me take the initiative to reconcile with and influence my husband with Christ’s love.”

Impersonating Customer Services
A member of the public told our reporter that a repair technician visited her home after she searched for the official air-conditioning after-sales service on Rednote (Xiaohongshu). She suspected that it was fake as the repair fee charged was double the official price. Investigations have revealed that online platforms are flooded with numerous seemingly legitimate repair hotlines that misrepresent themselves as official service providers. They will charge low call-out fees and double repair costs by overstating the malfunction. Such practices constitute false advertising, consumer fraud, and potential trademark infringement. Relevant parties are facing corresponding legal liabilities as this not only damages consumers’ financial interests, but also disrupts the market order.

A Blessed Family
“We are a Christian family. Our eldest daughter has always been a mature little girl. Our family has experienced God’s wondrous grace throughout her academic journey. She will take the Gaokao (Higher Exam) in just over half a year. We will rely entirely on God’s guidance as we know that this is the truest path to blessing. Aged 44, I gave birth to my second child. Advanced maternal age carries significant risks, and prenatal check-ups are far more extensive than for younger mothers. It brought me to tears every time I saw the doctor. I delivered a daughter weighing over 5kg. She is strong and intelligent, rarely fussy. I am determined to nurture her by guiding her, from a young age, to know the Lord and walk the path of blessing.”

Juvenile Offenders
“In July 2024, a juvenile offender under the age of 16 was repeatedly assaulted to death by three inmates within the same detention ward. The three were charged with intentional assault and disruption of prison order. The three defendants repeatedly assaulted and subjected the victim to corporal punishment under the pretext of training newly admitted inmates. They also limited his access to water and toilet, causing him to collapse. Despite medical intervention, the victim succumbed to his injuries. The defendants also assaulted, bullied, and subjected ten other inmates to corporal punishment under various pretexts. The three defendants sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve, life imprisonment, and 16 years’ imprisonment respectively.

May the Lord comfort the families of the victims, and show mercy to the young offenders enabling them to feel guilt and repent. May the Lord give wisdom to parents in this corrupt generation, so that they can guide their children on the right path.

- Festival Specials: Various program teams are working hard to produce Christmas and New Year’s specials. Ask the Lord to empower our colleagues so that they still have the wisdom and creativity to complete the productions despite their busy schedules. May the wonderful messages be widely spread on the day of Christ’s birth. May the Holy Spirit move people’s hearts and lead more people to Jesus Christ.
- Church Calendar Devotion: We are grateful for the accumulation of over 90 churches or organizations which have registered to use the “Church Calendar Devotion”. It is hoped that the Lord will guide more churches and pastors in supporting the program. Please pray that they will encourage the brothers and sisters in Christ to use the materials, build a life of spiritual devotion centered on Christ and establish a closer relationship with the Lord Jesus together.
