Crown of Glory
“I am now in my eighties. As the years pass, I treasure even more the opportunities to draw near to the Lord. In the past, I was too busy with farm work, never leaving myself time to rest. I missed many chances to pursue the Lord. Last year, my daughter bought me a large-print Bible. Since then, I have read it every day and developed the habit of copying Scripture by hand. Writing out the Bible has helped me greatly—to remember verses better and to understand the Word more deeply. The more I write, the more I long to write. I used to suffer from several chronic health problems, but through this daily practice, joy has returned to my heart, and my health has slowly improved. This is all by the grace of the Lord Jesus.”
(Brother Lin)
- Through copying Scripture, Brother Lin has grown in appreciation of its preciousness. Cheerful heart brings healing, and it is wonderful to see his health improving. Let all glory be given to God.
Marriage Struggles
“I am a fourth-generation Christian. Since childhood, I believed with my mother, yet my faith was shallow. When I grew up, I had a romantic relationship with a high school classmate. I shared the gospel with him, eventually he was baptized. After marriage, we had children, and my husband testified in church of God’s grace: though he suffered from nephrotic syndrome, which should have made it difficult to have children, God gave us sons. Yet, two years ago, after the birth of our second child, our marriage fell into crisis—my husband was unfaithful. My heart was deeply broken. In the midst of pain, I reflected on my own walk of faith—it had been in disarray. I was willful and failed to fulfill my role as a helper. Now I want to change through Christ’s strength.”
(Sister Chen)
- Sister Chen and her husband once had a beautiful testimony despite the current marital issues. She reflects and hopes that God will work in her husband’s heart, preventing him from sinking into sin.
Gospel Broadcasting
- Theology Learning: The four programs of Liangyou Theological Seminary (Navigation & Lay Training I, II & III) are designed according to varying levels and learning goals to provide believers with well-rounded training. We pray that these courses will continue to be renewed and developed in step with the times, and that believers will remain steadfast in completing each stage of their equipping.
- Staff Adaptation: In recent months, several colleagues have either joined the ministry or taken on new roles. Pray that the Lord will help them quickly adapt, integrate into the team, and make full use of their gifts in response to His calling. Please also remember the ongoing need for additional production staff, asking God to provide suitable workers for the gospel broadcasting ministry.
