Finding Strength in Christ
“I had been struggling with poor health, including being overweight, while caring for my aging parents and young children. When I experienced a minor stroke, I realized my lifestyle had to change. I prayed, and the Lord strengthened me to start running daily. It was tough at first, but by His grace, I lost nearly 15kg in six months. Though I once indulged in food, God helped me exercise self-control. I’ve eaten meat only occasionally over the past year. My health has greatly improved. I thank God for giving me the perseverance of faith; without His help, it would have been difficult for me to keep on.”

Students Mental Health
Recently, multiple government agencies in Sichuan Province jointly released the “Implementation Plan for Promoting Student Mental Health through Livelihood Projects”. The plan includes building a three-tier student mental health center, student mental health education research and care services, and establishing 24-hour county-level counseling hotlines for students and parents. The plan emphasizes implementing “one-on-one” psychological counseling and care services, focusing on students with learning difficulties, financial hardship, family relationship tensions, or those who have experienced major life changes.

- May the Lord allow this plan to truly help students and their parents, and ensure the comprehensive development and popularization of mental health services. Through psychological counseling, may the academic and emotional pressures of students be alleviated, and their interpersonal relationships improved.
Life Blossoming
“I grew up believing in Jesus with my mother, but I didn’t truly understand what it meant for my life. It wasn’t until my 20s, I was captivated by the messages preached from the pulpit. My life was completely transformed as I came to know the Lord more deeply. My heart is now filled with peace and joy, and I’ve committed myself to serving in the church. Through service, I’ve grown spiritually and become more sensitive to sin. Many of the young people I served with in church years ago are now leaders. My husband is a pastor, and my two children are also committed to ministry.”

- God has led Sister Chen to grow in the true faith, and her relationship with God has become increasingly intimate. May God use Sister Chen and her husband in their service at the church, and may her family become a blessing to many.
Elderly Workers
A woman in her 50s has reached retirement age but still wants to work in a factory to earn some pocket money. The company does not sign a labor contract with her, but a labor service agreement, and also requires her to sign a “disclaimer” that the company is not responsible for work-related injuries. Another woman in her 60s signed a labor service agreement with a cleaning company, and was injured in a fall while collecting garbage, but the cleaning company did not recognize it as a work-related injury and only paid RMB 6,000 for her hospitalization. After the intervention of the labor and social security bureau, her application for work-related injury recognition was accepted. Experts recommend strengthening legal protections and policies for older workers to promote fair employment opportunities for this vulnerable group.

May the government be able to improve policies, re-examine the retirement age for different occupations, so that elderly workers can have employment protection, while also releasing the labor force to address the future decline in the working population.
Gospel Broadcasting
- You Music Channel: Radio Liangyou launched a 24-hour streaming platform named “You Music Channel” at last year’s end. Christian hymns and music are played randomly together with Bible verses as a source of comfort for listeners. Thank various Christian bands for their support allowing us to use their music for free.
- Short Wave Broadcasting: The International Short Wave League organizes meetings regularly in February every year to discuss the co-ordination of the use of shortwave channels. Adjustments were made as necessary at the end of March. Some radio frequency bands of Radio Liangyou were changed accordingly. May God use the new frequencies so that more listeners can be reached.
