A Willing Heart to Repent
“God has blessed me with a husband who loves me and three children deeply. We appeared to be a happy family. Yet I failed to manage our finances several years ago. I not only suffered significant business losses, but was also burdened with debt and even facing a lawsuit. I critically reflected myself and realized I had a superficial relationship with God not truly following Him. I confessed and repented. My reflection is difficult circumstances require greater reliance on God to experience divine strength. I bring my children to church regularly and am equipping myself theologically. I believe that we can overcome any obstacles through divine grace.”
(Sister Chen)
- May God give Sister Chen courage to face the difficulties and learn to rely on God’s guidance. Thank God for giving her a supportive husband and a wonderful family. May they grow together in God’s grace and overcome every challenge.
Mechanical Handles
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released a new mandatory national standard “Safety Technical Requirements for Automobile Door Handles” which is scheduled to take effect on 1 January 2027. The standard aims to address key issues such as the drawbacks of interior door handles, failure to open doors after accidents, poor operability of interior door handles, and malfunctions in certain scenarios. The standard stipulates that exterior and interior door handles must have an independent mechanical release device. There were extreme incidents that the handles failed to operate when the vehicles ran out of power. Automakers will be granted a transition period up to 25 months with the final deadline set on 1 January 2029.”

- There have been multiple incidents where new energy vehicle’ doors locked after accidents, resulting in passengers being burned alive. Pray that mandatory standard will bring the attention from the trendy technology back to passenger safety.
In the Shelter
“When I worked in the coal mine, I experienced God’s protection every day. Dangers occurred due to unique environmental hazards, yet God brought me through safely every time. Once a blast underground caused a small cave-in in the mine burying a coworker. I prayed to the Lord Jesus and helped to move the rocks away. The worker was miraculously saved and said that it was lucky I was there. Only I knew I could do nothing without God’s grace. Many people here believe in Jesus, and the families pray for the miners every day. We all know that true peace is from Jesus. I hope my testimony will influence more people.”
(Brother Zhao)
- Thank God for His protection and grace upon Brother Zhao. Pray for the miners’ safety. May their faith be strengthened in the midst of danger and they experience the wondrous grace of God, so that more people may come to know the peace of Jesus.
Brand Clearance
A netizen ordered some famous brand items from a well-known “clearance” livestream channel. However, defects were found, including tagless men’s clothing. After undergoing multiple verification processes, some of the clothes were confirmed to be low-quality counterfeits and some others showed obvious signs of wear and tear suspected to be secondhand items. Investigations revealed that some of these garments were sourced from old clothes recycling bins and even garbage stations without being cleaned or disinfected. Some items even had mold spots and stains. The merchants concealed the facts that the goods were secondhand and labelled them “minor flaws” or “great value” or even “deemed defective upon delivery” and “no returns or exchanges”.

Pray that the government can strengthen supervision of the used clothes recycling and actively crack down on illegal activities to prevent people from making profits from charitable donations. Measures to protect customers can be taken by live streaming platforms.
Gospel Broadcasting
- Website Listening: Despite difficulties with the radio station’s website platform in the latter half of last year, the number of downloads for on-demand programs did not decrease throughout the year, and streaming listening hours were even higher than in the past. This is a miraculous work of God, and we offer our thanks to our colleagues for their tireless efforts. We pray that the Lord will protect the smooth operation of the network so that listeners can listen to programs as needed.
- Bless the Chinese: Following our collaboration with Far East Indonesia (a.k.a. YASKI), since January of this year, DZAS Radio in the Philippines has added a one-hour Hokkien worship program to its existing Mandarin broadcasts to serve the Hokkien-speaking Chinese community in Manila, Philippines. Please remember the production and broadcast of this program.
