Equipping Disciples

“More than 30 years ago, I was chosen by Jesus. Without hesitation, I committed myself to serving Jesus. I visited other villages to share the gospel, and I was truly joyful when I saw people repent. Along the way, I realized my Biblical knowledge was far from sufficient, so I longed even more to equip myself. I, thus, joined my church’s discipleship training. The church sent me to other places to establish churches, and later on I became a co-worker involved in training missionaries. Over the past years, I have devoted myself to disciples training. Dozens of those trained now serve across the country, and some are cross-border missionaries. All of these continue to stir me to contribute more for God.”

(Sister Meizi)

  • May the Lord grant Sister Meizi wisdom and faith, enabling her to be strengthened and further equipped in disciples training. May her service inspire more people to know the Lord, and may the gospel ministry continue to bear lasting fruits.

Miracle Drug

Recently, “Ginseng, Bitter Melon, Buckwheat, Mulberry Leaf Extract” has been a hot seller across major platforms, touted as a so-called “miracle drug for lowering blood sugar.” Many elderly patients, trusting the advertising, bought it only to find that it not only failed to control their blood sugar but delayed medical treatment. Reporters found that the product’s category was labeled as a sports nutrition food, and the top three ingredients listed were edible glucose, maltodextrin, and corn starch. The “miracle drug” is merely a hook: the seller arranges so-called “experts” to instruct customers on how to take it and then conducts one-on-one selling / marketing, and they promote more expensive customized treatment packages, claiming they can “cure diabetes.”

  • May the Lord awaken the conscience of these merchants so they will stop engaging in profiteering that harms lives. May the authorities take proactive enforcement action and take effective legal actions.

Pass on the Flame

“I was blessed to join a mission trip to a remote mountainous area, where we met the descendants of earlier missionaries. Many people are still serving quietly. Although there are many challenges, they cannot allow the flame of the gospel to grow dim. They have taken in some orphans — caring not only for their daily needs but also teaching them spiritual truths. All of us were deeply moved. As we visited different places, we found many young brothers and sisters doing meaningful work in difficult conditions, and I greatly admire them. It left a profound impression on me. After returning, I shared their stories in various churches, and we have been striving to support their ministry.”

(Brother Xu)

  • May the Lord bless the missionaries and brothers and sisters who serve quietly in remote regions. Grant them strength, so that the flame of the gospel may continue to burn. May Brother Xu’s testimony inspire more people to support this important ministry.

Drink and Drive

Spring Festival is often the peak period for drink-driving violations. Some drivers believe that if they drank at noon, it is safe to drive at night; or that if they drank the day before, it is safe to drive the next morning—yet they are still found to be driving under alcoholic influence. The police explain that the rate at which alcohol is metabolized varies from person to person and is affected by factors such as the amount consumed, the alcohol content, and individual physique. And, it is common that “the person is awake but the alcohol hasn’t worn off”. Many may think that e-bikes are slower and less danger. Losing physical control of the body, slower reactions, and impaired judgment—these dangers caused by alcohol do not discriminate by vehicle type; they are all drink-driving.

(“CCTV News App”, January 8, 2026)

  • May the Lord grant drivers self-control so they will not drink drive. May the relevant authorities strengthen education on drink-driving and step up enforcement checks during the holiday season.

Gospel Broadcasting

  1. Thematic Website: Due to the high volume of traffic to the station’s resource library, we reorganize it into smaller, more accessible modules. Currently, the “Devotions & Preaching” website has been launched, aggregating resources with corresponding text. The “Exegesis & Bible Study” website integrates several Bible teaching programs, alongside a dedicated space for listener interaction.
  2. New Courses: Liangyou Theological Seminary has completed and launched several new courses on schedule. We pray these will be a help to our audience, equipping them to better serve the church the Lord loves. May the Spirit of the Lord guide the participating believers to know Him more deeply.
