Foster Learning

“I was called by God to be a “fisher of men”. But my knowledge of the Bible was seriously lacking. When I encountered interference from heretical teachings, I felt even more strongly that studying theology was essential. I attended a seminary, but after graduating I realized there was a gap between what was taught and the realities of serving. By chance, I came to know Liangyou Theological Seminary, what I learned here can be applied to the real setting, enabling me to serve with confidence and effectiveness. After graduating, I promoted the Liangyou programs in my church; I also promoted the program in the wider region, and more than 100 co-workers took part in the training.”

(Brother Du)

  • Thanks be to the Lord for calling Brother Du, enabling him to effectively advance the teaching of Liangyou Theological Seminary in his ministry. May his efforts inspire more co-workers to participate in learning and become a strong force within the church.

Validation of the Strongest

On January 2, five people illegally crossed the “Aotai Trail”. One person made it down the mountain on their own, one was rescued, and three died. The Trail, traverses between Mount Ao in the Qinling Mountains and Mount Taibai, is known as one of China’s deadliest hiking trails. It features high altitude, long distances, difficulty to resupply, rapidly changing weather, and with many blind spots for communication. Some influencers promote completing the route as a “graduation ceremony for the strongest,” distorting its high death rate into a “proof of the strongest,” misleading many online users into blindly pursuing the thrill of conquering nature. People go based solely on passion, leading to an endless stream of accidents on the “Aotai Trial”.

(“People’s Daily WeChat”, January 8, 2026)

  • May the authorities regulate those online platforms, and remove posts that incite others to engage in illegal and dangerous expeditions. May mountain-safety education can be strengthened.

Spiritual Awakening

“I am often busy with the trivial matters at home—my daughter-in-law had a baby, and my husband went off to plant fruit trees and vegetables. I was running back and forth to help, and I did not take part in church ministry, so my relationship with the Lord grew distant. As a result, I found that I couldn’t do anything well. I felt I had failed God and failed others. I came to deeply realize I must hold tight to the Lord’s hand, set aside more time to draw near to Him, and serve Him! I will not make excuses to keep myself away from the Lord. I repent deeply and ask the Lord to forgive my sins, and to help me always remember that He has always loved me. May I use the Lord’s teachings to guide my family and become a true helper to my husband.”

(Sister Gao)

  • May the Lord help Sister Gao find balance in her busy life and rebuild an intimate relationship with Him. May her repentance bring freedom to her heart, and become a source of support to her family.

Livestreaming Industry

With increasingly diverse employment options today, the online livestreaming industry has attracted more than 38 million streamers. However, the contractual relationship between streamers and streaming platforms is often ambiguous. Many streamers sign an “influencer agency contract” rather than an employment contract. As of December 2024, the number of online livestreaming users reached 833 million, and the number of professional streamers grew by 1.5 times year on year. How to balance an employer’s competitive interests with streamers’ right to work has become a point of debate. Courts have suggested that liquidated damages for breaching non-compete agreements should be reasonable.

(“Workers’ Daily”, January 16, 2026)

  • May such non-compete agreements be reasonably regulated to safeguard streamers’ rights. May God grant industry leaders wisdom to balance corporate trade secrets with streamers’ right to employment.

Gospel Broadcasting

  1. Thematic Website: Due to the high volume of traffic to the station’s resource library, we reorganize it into smaller, more accessible modules. Currently, the “Devotions & Preaching” website has been launched, aggregating resources with corresponding text. The “Exegesis & Bible Study” website integrates several Bible teaching programs, alongside a dedicated space for listener interaction.
  2. New Courses: Liangyou Theological Seminary has completed and launched several new courses on schedule. We pray these will be a help to our audience, equipping them to better serve the church the Lord loves. May the Spirit of the Lord guide the participating believers to know Him more deeply.
