A Life Journey

“I grew up in a Christian home, but I saw it as my parents’ faith. After I got married, I faced many setbacks. A close friend shared the gospel with me, and I thank God for opening my heart. As I began serving at church, I learned deeply that God uses those who are ‘willing’, not merely those who are ‘able”. Later, my church sent me to an unreached mission field. I resisted strongly, but my pastor’s words—‘You can’t, but God can’—moved me profoundly. The pressures on the mission field often made me want to give up, but God kept drawing and pushing me forward. The work continued to break new ground, and with every storm I experienced God’s amazing grace more and more.”

(Sister Li)

  • Lord, please grant Sister Li courage and resilience to face all the challenges and pressures of her mission work. May she experience Your wonderful grace profoundly, and become a blessing to others.

Profiting from Returns

Tutorials on “Making money from return shipping insurance” have been quietly circulating on social media. They claim: “Get an RMB 11 payout, ship it for RMB 5.8, and pocket the difference.” The idea is to push consumers to choose “ship it back yourself” and then use certain courier platforms to send return parcels at a lower rate, earning the spread. Industry insiders say fraud involving return-shipping insurance is increasingly carried out by organized groups and has even developed into a black-market chain. Experts suggest that cracking down on such illegal activity requires stronger legal-risk warnings (so people understand it may be unlawful), and that platforms should also improve their claims processes.

(“CNR The Voice of China”, December 4, 2025)

  • Pray that online platforms will improve their return processes so return-shipping reimbursements cannot be easily diverted or abused. Grant wisdom to law enforcement as they investigate and deal with those making bad-faith returns to defraud insurers.

Victory Through Christ

“I’m a high school student who was baptized last year. During my second year, I was diagnosed with moderate depression and anxiety. My grandma and mother brought me to church. The pastor laid hands on me and prayed for me many times. The brothers and sisters encouraged me to sing hymns and listen to sermons. By God’s grace, I overcame it; the depression and anxiety are gone. Radio Liangyou was also a huge help during that time; your programs were a great source of encouragement. One thing still bothers me, though. I went through a phase where I struggled with impure thoughts. I even felt afraid when thinking about Jesus. I know I should rely on God, but I feel so weak. Please pray for me.”

(Brother Wang)

  • Lord, please give Brother Wang continued strength and peace. Help him rely fully on Your grace as he faces depression and anxiety. May he find true comfort and freedom in the Lord Jesus.

Spaces for Co-parenting

Shoppers in Beijing have noticed that “Mother and Baby Rooms” in malls are being renamed “Parenting Rooms,” with “Co-parenting” signs making it clear they are for both fathers and mothers. Traditional facilities designed solely for the “mother-infant” dynamic no longer meet the modern need for shared parenting. Due to a lack of unified standards, these parenting facilities vary significantly in safety and comfort, often failing to provide a good experience. Experts suggest that legislation should incorporate the building of parenting rooms into public service planning, mandating their provision in large public spaces like malls, stations, and hospitals, thereby truly integrating “co-parenting” into public services.

(“Legal Daily”, December 3, 2025)

  • Children are gifts from the Lord! We pray that the relevant authorities will establish parenting-friendly policies, leading to more convenient and well-suited childcare facilities in our society to make outings easier for families.
