Freed From Confinement

“The economy has been particularly bad for the past two years. But I thank God for giving us strength which will equal our days. I also pray that God will grant me a joyful and contented heart, making me free from comparison and envy. I always tend to compare myself to others around me. This comparison easily leads to my negative emotions and feelings of loss. I have tried to adjust myself. However, it seems that I have not completely renewed myself over the years. I know that I should not be bound by secularism. It is necessary to overcome it only through my reliance on the Lord Jesus. I hope that I can break my shackles so as to escape from the prison of self-confinement. Then I can have physical and mental health to walk in harmony with the Lord’s love.”

(Sister Chen)

  • Pray that the Lord’s work will touch Sister Chen’s heart deeply, and willing to overcome her problems by relying on the Lord so that she can live inside the Lord’s love and peace with heavenly hope.

Fake Down Clothing

As the weather turns cold, the sale of down clothing is entering its peak season. The prices of down clothing range from tens of dollars to thousands of dollars on various major e-commerce platforms. But the quality of filling materials varies greatly. The materials even contain no down at all but with a hidden trap. Consumers often notice the problems only after wearing the clothing for a certain period of time. When they want to pursue the protection for their rights, they will face multiple obstacles, including high testing costs; and difficulties in providing evidences and claiming compensations. Lawyers advise consumers to keep evidences such as shopping orders, screenshots of product details, and records of chats with the customer services.

(“Legal Daily”, November 4, 2025)

  • Pray that the relevant department can join hands with e-commerce platforms to conduct regular spot checks for down products; and to ensure that citizens can purchase genuine warm clothing.

Local Workers

Many overseas missionaries had served diligently and faithfully in areas of ethnic minorities, bearing abundant fruit for the Lord. However, many of them had to leave due to various reasons. But The Lord of Harvest has already prepared for this. It is known that different churches in the coastal provinces have united to quietly train and send young workers to carry out cross-cultural missionary work. Another group of mobilized people has been found in some ethnic minority churches. They are willing to accept training despite weariness and preach the gospel to different ethnic groups in their vicinity. They have taken up the baton of missionary work passed on them.

  • Pray that our Heavenly Father will strengthen these churches to train cross-cultural missionaries and that they will remain cautious and prudent in difficult circumstances. Pray that more local workers will continue to lift the gospel torch up, illuminating other groups who have never heard of the gospel.

Gospel Broadcasting

  1. Festival Specials: Various program teams are working hard to produce Christmas and New Year’s specials. Ask the Lord to empower our colleagues so that they still have the wisdom and creativity to complete the productions despite their busy schedules. May the wonderful messages be widely spread on the day of Christ’s birth. May the Holy Spirit move people’s hearts and lead more people to Jesus Christ.
  2. Church Calendar Devotion: We are grateful for the accumulation of over 90 churches or organizations which have registered to use the “Church Calendar Devotion”. It is hoped that the Lord will guide more churches and pastors in supporting the program. Please pray that they will encourage the brothers and sisters in Christ to use the materials, build a life of spiritual devotion centered on Christ and establish a closer relationship with the Lord Jesus together.
