The Prodigal Returns

“I was completely lost when it came to marriage—I dated a non-believer, lived with him, and even had a child. My parents were deeply hurt and heartbroken over this, and my relationship with them was nearly broken. At my lowest point, I tuned in to Radio Liangyou and realized that I had sinned against the Lord. With the host’s guidance, I repented and tried to mend my relationship with my parents. The Lord has been paving the way for reconciliation, and since He intervened, everything has been moving in a positive direction. Reuniting with my parents amid the struggle filled my heart with gratitude. I wept tears of thankfulness to the Lord—my Heavenly Father and my earthly father both love me.”

(Sister Yuan)

  • We thank the Lord for leading Sister Yuan out of her lost state and back to Him. She has experienced the richness of the Lord’s love. May the Lord continue guiding her in handling her relationships and grant her more experiences of His love and grace.

Threefold Compensation

Recently, a car company claimed a part worth RMB 42,000 could enhance the performance of its sports cars. In reality, it was just an “engineering redundancy,” and the company finally offered only a free retrofit and 20,000 bonus points as compensation. A university student purchased an anti-blue light monitor online, only to find out upon delivery that it lacked the advertised features. Only after intervention from market regulatory authorities did the platform agree to a “one-for-one refund.” Under the Consumer Rights Protection Law, a “triple compensation” only applies if fraud is proven, making it very difficult for consumers to provide evidence.

(“Legal Daily”, Jun 10, 2025)

  • May the relevant authorities improve the complaint mechanisms, proactively investigate, lower the burden of proof for consumers, strengthen oversight and penalties, and increase the cost of corporate violations—so that the “refund and triple compensation” law can truly protect consumers.

Steadfast Faith

A young Uyghur man witnessed his mother’s steadfast faith in Christ during his childhood, despite his father’s opposition. They held home gatherings, growing alongside a small group of believers. Later, he studied in southern China, still hesitant to reveal his faith—yet he remains determined to hold fast to the faith his mother passed down. For Uyghurs, accepting the gospel is like moving a mountain, and following Christ remains fraught with challenges. Among over 10 million Uyghurs, Christians number less than 0.1%. As early as 1906, CIM missionary George W. Hunter established a mission, joined by educated and medically trained workers. But the largest and most impactful work was led by Swedish teams in populated oases.

  • Pray for the gospel seeds sown by those before us and until now, and also for the Uyghur believers, that the Lord may protect them to stand firm in Him. Also remember the missionaries who persevere in witnessing the gospel even in great difficulties.

Gospel Broadcasting

  1. Connecting with Listeners: Since adopting the “incarnational radio” strategy in 2008, connecting with listeners has become the guiding principle for every program. Through various formats, listeners’ voices are now an indispensable part of our shows. Our team values this interaction deeply. Please pray for God’s grace that we may continue this close journey with our listeners.
  2. Staff Recruitment: Several departments need to hire new staff. Pray for a smooth process and that the Lord leads gifted brothers and sisters to join. Additionally, with the current staff shortage, may existing staff support each other and adjust flexibly to ensure all ministries are completed on time.
