A Life Transformed

“As a young teenager, I lived like a delinquent. My mother shed many tears, praying fervently for me. After I graduated, she insisted I attend church. There, I heard the pastor preach that sinners must repent or face eternal separation from God. Those words struck me deeply, and God’s grace transformed my heart. After repenting, I pursued God’s truth, eventually becoming a church minister and determined to find a life partner within the faith. My ministry was among the elderly, so my grandfather joked I’d be single for life. Yet, by God’s wondrous grace, He prepared a wonderful sister in Christ as my wife. Today, I serve as a pastor, and both our children are devoted to Christ. From delinquent to pastor—this is truly the miraculous grace of God.”

(Brother Xie)

  • God did not allow Brother Xie’s life to end in ruin; instead, He made him a faithful servant. May Brother Xie’s testimony inspire many, and may God continue to use him and his family for His glory.

Fraudulent Welfare

Scammers are posting fake welfare offers on video platforms to lure victims. They then request the victim’s WeChat login details, claiming they need the account for “tasks” and even advise transferring money out of the WeChat wallet first to gain trust. Next, they ask the victim to change the password to a specified one and log out, pretending they only need the account to boost sales and reviews. If the victim complies, the scammer takes over the account and sells it to criminals. Most victims are minors who lack the knowledge to recover their accounts.

  • Technology-related scams are constantly evolving. May God grant wisdom to young people so they can discern right from wrong and avoid being deceived by quick gains. May the authorities strengthen their efforts to monitor cybercrime, swiftly freeze compromised accounts, and increase public awareness of fraud.

The Voice of the Bai People

Missionary Yang Zhiying, former supervisor of China Inland Mission in western Yunnan, noted: “Unless the gospel is shared in the Bai dialect, the mission cannot reach its full potential.” The Bai people, numbering about 1.85 million, mainly live in Yunnan, with smaller groups in Guizhou and Hunan. Buddhism and Daoism arrived early, but their traditional faith centers on local deities. The Bai are generally well-educated but face great challenges such as family breakdown and divorce due to urbanization. Through years of missionary effort, there are now around 50,000 Bai Christians. The New Testament has been translated and recorded in their own dialect, but the audio Bible is not yet available online.

  • We thank the Lord for Bai believers who record and share biblical truths and teachings on marriage and family in their heart language. Now, the Bai have access to the New Testament in audio! May God continue to bless and strengthen these efforts.

  1. Program Teams: Pray for all program production teams—that each co-worker may use their gifts and serve in unity. May God renew the minds of producers and hosts, granting them creativity and fresh ideas, and inspire the editors while protecting their hearing health.
  2. Seminary Courses: Liangyou Theological Seminary held several online events last year, all of which were well-received. This year, the teachers will continue to offer more online thematic studies. May God use these online sessions to deepen our listeners’ understanding of different subjects.
