Holy Covenant
“I got to know a church sister half a year ago and we started dating. I am several years older and we live in different cities. Our family and friends think it is impossible for us to stay together. We pray and clearly know that God has made us to be matched. She fully relies on God praying about everything, and has had significant influence on me. We read the Bible, pray and praise together, and open our hearts to each other. Our mutual watchfulness has helped us build a better relationship with the Lord. We strictly follow the Lord’s teachings to love each other and we attend church counseling. We pray for God’s guidance to make our marriage a beautiful testimony to His faithfulness.”

Renewal Fee Trap
Subscription-based models have become a prevalent revenue strategy for many internet products. However, some merchant apps withhold and provide false information to trap consumers. A user subscribed to a 24-hour trial membership of an app. Within less than 24 hours, the app automatically charged the user for a monthly fee without notification. The user only realized it after seven months, and asked for a refund which was denied by the company. A lawsuit was started. The court ruled that the app interface had failed to fulfill the legal obligation of “a prominent reminder” to the consumer and infringed on the user’s right to be informed. The company was ordered to refund the user.

- Pray that the departments concerned can strengthen the monitoring of internet products, penalize the companies that fail to provide mandatory reminders of purchase terms and renewal fees to consumers, and even remove the apps from the market to rectify business irregularities and protect consumers.
God is Our Protector
“My son and daughter-in-law who work in another city have left their four-year-old child with me. I teach the child to sing hymns, sowing the seeds of the Gospel in his young heart. One day, while the child was playing by the roadside in the village, I saw a car speeding towards him. I quickly shouted for him to get out of the way, but it was too late. The car hit the child who was thrown away. I was terrified and cried out to Jesus. The villagers rushed over and picked up the child. He was taken to the hospital for examination and found completely unharmed. The neighbors said my Lord had saved the child. I cannot thank God enough. Many of the neighbors have come to believe in Jesus after this incident.”

- Thank God for protecting the child and letting sister Chai’s neighbors see His mighty power. The wonders of God are beyond human comprehension. He saves people under all circumstances.
Fire Hydrant “Sign Off”
Fire hydrants currently being used as “sign-off” points for courier packages has sparked widespread concern. A journalist discovered that fire hydrants in a building of a residential complex in Beijing had been used as “express lockers” and broadly stuck with packets. The messy situation is caused as some courier companies allow users to choose fire hydrants as collection points. Using fire hydrants to “sign-off” packages not only exposes a disregard for life safety but also violates the law. According to the Fire Protection Law, it is illegal to encircle or block fire hydrants. Property management companies are responsible for educating residents to properly recognize the safety functions of fire hydrants.

May government departments can prohibit recipients from choosing public places for receiving parcels, and urge property management companies to properly maintain fire safety facilities. May the Lord increase residents’ safety awareness, so that they do not compromise safety for convenience.
Gospel Broadcasting
- 76th Anniversary of Radio Liangyou: In the morning of July 29, our staff gathered and reviewed the founding history of the ministry. We examined the efforts and perseverance of our predecessors who ultimately yielded a harvest and bore fruit for the Lord amid difficulties. In the evening, we had a 2.5-hour live program. Our “fruit”, our audience, bored by Radio Liangyou participated together in the program, including hymn singing, bible reading, restating of the history and sharing of testimonies.
- Planning and Budgeting for 2026: Ask the Lord to grant wisdom to various department heads so that they can comprehensively plan our organization’s ministry for the next year in accordance with the actual needs and estimates of the ministry development. Also pray that the Lord will give us the confidence to rely on the His provision so that the gospel broadcasting ministry will lack nothing to develop continuously.
