Hardship Takes a Turn
“My mother had been frequently abused by my father when she was young. I had been suffering in pain and diagnosed with schizophrenia. My younger sister was the first to believe in the Lord, and shared the gospel with my mother and me. Jesus saved me. I was introduced to a church sister who loved God very much and did not despise me. We grew together and got married. She has devoted herself to caring for me and maintained our marriage according to biblical teachings. My long-term medication made it difficult for my wife to get pregnant. She prayed to God in tears. God blessed us with a very healthy and lovely child when my wife was 40. God has truly watched over our lives.”

Background Checks
Employers have the right to know about the basic information of their employees directly related to labor contracts. Many job applicants are rated risky (“yellow light”) after background checks, resulting in not being hired or having their salaries reduced. Ms. Luo had been collectively sued by a property management company and therefore failed to get a job. Mr. Zhang who had been the plaintiff of a fraud case also failed to get employed. Mr. Wang had his monthly salary reduced by RMB 5,000 due to a negative comment from former colleague. Experts state that background checks should ensure standardized processes, compliant channels, minimal intrusion of privacy. Abusive use of background checks should be held legally liable.

3C Labels
Power banks without a 3C certification mark have been prohibited from being brought on domestic flights. However, some merchants take advantage by selling “3C labels” to provide “fake certification mark”. Authorities took action by meeting with online platforms who consequently removed all “3C labels” from the market, some merchants are still covertly selling the labels. Some online platforms, driven by profit motives, may relax their review standards or even turn a blind eye to the illegal activities. Consumers who purchase “3C labels” and add to non-compliant products and bring them on flights are responsible for compensation claims and criminally liable when an accident happens.

Lord, please let the public know the dangers of non-compliant power banks and stop the counterfeit practices. May the relevant departments step up prosecution targeting merchants selling “3C labels” and enhance the training of airport security personnel to improve their ability to identify 3C products.
Gospel Broadcasting
- 76th Anniversary of Radio Liangyou: In the morning of July 29, our staff gathered and reviewed the founding history of the ministry. We examined the efforts and perseverance of our predecessors who ultimately yielded a harvest and bore fruit for the Lord amid difficulties. In the evening, we had a 2.5-hour live program. Our “fruit”, our audience, bored by Radio Liangyou participated together in the program, including hymn singing, bible reading, restating of the history and sharing of testimonies.
- Planning and Budgeting for 2026: Ask the Lord to grant wisdom to various department heads so that they can comprehensively plan our organization’s ministry for the next year in accordance with the actual needs and estimates of the ministry development. Also pray that the Lord will give us the confidence to rely on the His provision so that the gospel broadcasting ministry will lack nothing to develop continuously.
