Walking with Good Friends

“For more than a decade now, whenever I’ve felt lost, Radio Liangyou has always provided guidance. I didn’t leave my two children at home for work, because the programs taught me to set priorities. Along the way, although there have been many challenges, I have moved forward step by step relying on the Lord Jesus—God’s guidance never fails. I am grateful to have Liangyou by my side; whenever I face uncertainty, I reach out to the radio station and always receive the right guidance. I thank God for using Liangyou to bless me. Although my husband and I don’t earn much working locally, God has not let us lack anything—in fact, we even have a surplus. I am truly very grateful to God.”

(Sister Liu)

  • May God guide Sister Liu through Radio Liangyou, granting her clear direction amid confusion and at life’s turning points; may He grant her and her husband sufficient wisdom to steadfastly prioritize what matters most and joyfully press on in the Lord.

Dyed Lettuce

Recently, a scandal involving “dyed lettuce” came to light in Gansu. According to a joint announcement issued by the local Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Market Regulation Bureau, authorities inspected 53 vegetable procurement and storage companies in the area and found that six of them had illegally used the food additive “Green Fruit” to dye lettuce during the procurement process. Law enforcement officers immediately seized and destroyed the tainted lettuce and initiated investigations into the involved companies. Applying colorants to vegetables can easily mask the product’s inherent defects, leading consumers to misjudge its freshness and quality.

(“CNR-1 The Voice of China”, September 8, 2026)

  • May the authorities strengthen inspections of fresh vegetables and crack down on companies’ use of illegal additives. May the Lord transform these companies so they can maintain vegetable freshness through improved transportation.

Post-Disaster Relief

Due to extreme rainfall, many areas in China have suffered from flooding and mudslides. On August 14, in a predominantly Lisu ethnic group area near Laojun Mountain in Yunnan, the region was struck by severe convective weather, resulting in successive waves of flooding, hail, and flash floods. The entire village’s farmland was submerged, and all crops were destroyed. Fortunately, rescuers arrived quickly and began relief efforts. Thankfully, there were no casualties. According to local pastors, many Christian families have been severely affected. We understand that teams of Christian volunteers have already reached out to the local residents and are organizing the delivery of relief supplies to the affected families.

  • Pray for the Lisu families in the remote mountainous areas, whose homes have been destroyed; and pray that the Lord will help them rebuild their homes before winter sets in, so they can withstand the cold winds. Pray for believers who plan to donate warm clothing, hoping it will reach the victims directly.

Gospel Broadcasting

  1. Gospel Mission: Earlier, Radio Liangyou held a “Gospel Programming Symposium” for our staff members. Led by three program directors from different regions, the event helped staff reflect on the true meaning of the Gospel and explore how to produce effective Gospel-centered programs. The event covered both theory and practice, and we pray that the Lord will help our staff persevere in their efforts to produce Gospel-centered content.
  2. Youth Ministry: The LTS course “Youth Ministry” has been revised and is now officially airing. Students have reported that the program helps them clearly understand how to practically carry out youth ministry and provides a clear direction to follow. May the Lord guide our pastoral staff to lead the course content into a blessing for the younger generation.
