Clothed in Humility

“When fellow coworkers turned on one another and our peaceful fellowship devolved into open conflict. Why did brothers and sisters who once felt like family turn into adversaries? How could this be resolved? Aside from praying, I turned to the Scriptures for answers. As I read about Moses facing criticism from his family and opposition from his own people, his reliance on God and humble posture deeply inspired me. I realized that a spiritual leader’s attitude toward conflict matters far more than the practical methods used to resolve it. I came to see that God allows trials to purify our lives and lead us into spiritual abundance. I am now willing to embrace humility to resolve conflict.”

(Sister A)

  • May God strengthen Sister A in times of weakness and confusion, granting her spiritual wisdom and humility. Pray also for restored harmony and unity within her church community.

Relationship Mentors

Across the internet, numerous services promise to help people restore broken relationships or recover lost love. Yet journalists have found that some of these so-called “relationship coaches” do little genuine listening. In some cases, even the replies given to vulnerable clients are generated by AI. Using scripted expressions such as “I understand your pain,” they seek to build trust and then persuade clients to move to private WeChat conversations, where they are encouraged to purchase expensive services. Some platforms deliberately target people in emotional distress, exploiting their vulnerabilities and intensifying their anxiety in order to sell costly packages. As a result, some clients are left not only with unresolved relationships but also financial losses and additional emotional wounds.

(“China Youth Daily”, September 15, 2026)

  • May the Lord comfort those who are lonely and struggling. May authorities provide clear standards and oversight for emotional counselling services, protecting vulnerable people from exploitation.

Learning for the Lord

“Our church ministers were misinterpreting Scripture and failing to nourish the congregation with sound doctrine. Many believers lacked a firm spiritual foundation and were unclear about God’s heart. The Holy Spirit moved me to study the Bible diligently, but with visual acuity of only 0.4, studying was exceptionally challenging. Later, I discovered Liangyou Theological Seminary and enrolled immediately. My poor eyesight required me to work several times harder, but God’s faithful guidance made every hardship worthwhile. After years of study, I have completed all my courses and graduated! Thank God for granting me perseverance, and thank you to the teachers at Liangyou for your tireless dedication.”

(Brother Wang)

  • May God grant Brother Wang clear spiritual understanding as he studies the Bible. May church ministers grow deeper in their understanding of biblical truth, so that they can preach the true Gospel.

Death of Mukbang Streamer

Last month, a 24-year-old mukbang streamer with a million followers tragically passed away from severe hypokalemia (low blood potassium). Just three days prior to her passing, she posted a video explaining that she had been hospitalized due to hypokalemia, mentioning that she sometimes consumed dozens of preserved eggs in a single livestream session. Driven by sensation-seeking audiences and platform algorithms, a relentless cycle continues to consume the health and lives of young people in exchange for likes, tips, and sales revenue. Although binge-eating broadcasts are legally prohibited, creating a healthy online ecosystem requires meaningful platform governance and a shift in public viewing habits.

(“China News Service”, September 9, 2026)

  • May authorities strengthen regulation of live-streaming platforms and prevent the promotion of content that is harmful to physical and mental well-being. May the Lord change society’s fascination with sensationalism and help cultivate values that honor health, dignity, and life.

Gospel Broadcasting

  1. Gospel Mission: Earlier, Radio Liangyou held a “Gospel Programming Symposium” for our staff members. Led by three program directors from different regions, the event helped staff reflect on the true meaning of the Gospel and explore how to produce effective Gospel-centered programs. The event covered both theory and practice, and we pray that the Lord will help our staff persevere in their efforts to produce Gospel-centered content.
  2. Youth Ministry: The LTS course “Youth Ministry” has been revised and is now officially airing. Students have reported that the program helps them clearly understand how to practically carry out youth ministry and provides a clear direction to follow. May the Lord guide our pastoral staff to lead the course content into a blessing for the younger generation.
