Growth Through Trials

“From a young age, my mother took me to all kinds of gatherings, and I grew up immersed in the church environment. When I was 16, I began studying theology, and God led me step by step into ministry. God has given me so many gifts so that I may better serve the church. To keep me from becoming proud, God gave me a thorn—a polyp in my throat that made speaking very difficult. That was a tremendous test of my faith: Would I still be able to open my mouth to praise and preach? I sat quietly before God, weeping, and said, ‘If You are using me, please heal me.’ As I waited, and when I stopped worrying, God’s marvelous grace came upon me, and my voice gradually recovered.”

(Sister Zheng)

  • May God help Sister Zheng to remain humble and reverent on her journey of service; may the Lord also heal her voice, grant her stability and strength, and enable her to once again sing praises and preach.

Rebuilding Through Love

“In the past, my relationship with my eldest son was very strained. He was already an adult, there was almost no communication between us. So I prayed and asked God to help me change. I learned to love him with the love of Christ and to take the initiative to care for him, and our relationship gradually began to change. He actually took the initiative to suggest we go out together—something he used to refuse to do. My son says he now feels the love of our family; this is truly a marvelous grace. Before, we were both too self-centered. But when I submitted to the Lord’s authority, willingly doing what was needed without expecting anything in return, that’s when the change happened”

(Sister Qi)

  • May God guide Sister Qi to care for and reach out to her son with Christ’s love. May the Lord deepen the trust and affection between mother and son, so that the family may continue to be blessed in harmony.

Gospel Broadcasting

  1. Gospel Mission: Earlier, Radio Liangyou held a “Gospel Programming Symposium” for our staff members. Led by three program directors from different regions, the event helped staff reflect on the true meaning of the Gospel and explore how to produce effective Gospel-centered programs. The event covered both theory and practice, and we pray that the Lord will help our staff persevere in their efforts to produce Gospel-centered content.
  2. Youth Ministry: The LTS course “Youth Ministry” has been revised and is now officially airing. Students have reported that the program helps them clearly understand how to practically carry out youth ministry and provides a clear direction to follow. May the Lord guide our pastoral staff to lead the course content into a blessing for the younger generation.
