The Shield of Faith

“I used to work in the government. Because I believe in Jesus, I didn’t dare to abuse my power, which ended up offending some people. Lawbreakers once spread rumors and accused me of corruption. After three months of investigation, they found nothing amiss. Later, a meeting was held to clear my name—I knew it was the Lord protecting me. I don’t dare compare myself to Daniel—because of my circumstances, I didn’t openly share my faith at work. I retired a few years ago. Now about twenty of us retired officials meet regularly to study the Bible, and I also get to serve in church. Looking back, without the Lord’s protection, I hate to think how corrupted I might have become in that cesspool. Thank you to my loving God.”

(Brother Li)

  • Behind Brother Li’s seemingly lonely stand, the Lord upheld him with His righteous right hand. May the Lord preserve him as he leads others to study the Bible with one heart and understand the truth..

Virtual Experts

Recently, reporters searched video platforms for “expert endorsements” and found many ads with obvious signs of AI generation, yet none carried “AI-generated” warnings. One viewer saw an expert explaining diaper features, was persuaded, and placed an order. After just one day’s use, she found the quality poor—her baby’s bottom was red and irritated. Looking further, she discovered the expert didn’t actually exist. Customer service said the video was AI-generated and for reference only. Scholars pointed out that if businesses use AI to enhance products or fabricate effects—leading consumers to misunderstand the product—this may violate consumers’ right to be informed.

(“China Youth Daily”, July 14, 2026)

  • May the authorities will tighten regulations on AI-generated content, and push video and e-commerce platforms to screen merchant ads more strictly. May businesses return to honesty, focusing on the real features and quality of their products.

Audio Gospel Tracts

In the global mission movement, some scholars believe that sharing the gospel in one’s mother tongue is relatively more effective. That is why Gospel radio has spent years reaching unreached people in their own “heart language.” In recent years, teams have been recording Bible stories and messages in various languages, copying them as audio gospel tracts. The latest completed works include the Kham and Greater Hmong dialects, with the Bai and Buyi dialects currently underway. We believe that in the near future, people from these ethnic groups will be able to listen to the familiar sounds of their native tongues and the good news of the gospel via audio players.

  • May the Lord use the production and distribution of these audio gospel tracts so that peoples of different ethnicities may hear the gospel. The whole process requires careful handling, and the workers are diligent and meticulous. May the Lord watch over and protect them.

Gospel Broadcasting

  1. Network Disruptions: Recently, access to various Radio Liangyou and Liangyou Theological Seminary platforms and program links has been down. Pray that the Lord makes a way for our listeners and keeps them strong in Him. The App we are developing is now in its final testing phase; pray for a smooth launch and that it will run flawlessly so listeners can tune in with ease.
  2. Fruitful Meetings: A series of meetings took place in July, including the FEBC International Leadership Training, the Chinese Ministry AI Application Symposium, and the Chinese Program Directors’ Meeting. May the Lord use the fruits of these discussions to drive our ministry forward, so more people can experience the blessings of the Gospel.
