Taking Root
“I am a fifth-generation Christian. Many of my family members have stumbled along the path of faith and taken many detours; yet God has never forsaken us. Prices Rise Every Holiday
During May Day holiday, domestic travel continued to surge, driving a year-on-year increase of 18% in hotel accommodation spending. Many consumers reported that the price hikes for holiday hotel accommodation were “excessively outrageous.” Since March, relevant authorities have issued a series of warning letters regarding the maintenance of stable hotel prices during the May Day period. Experts note that these letters typically focus only on the penalties for price gouging without actually defining the act itself. For hotels, raising the price of a single room by a few hundred can yield substantial profits in just a few days. Compared to the probability of being investigated and the potential fines, this is enough to tempt many operators to take the risk.

- Pray that the authorities will improve the mechanisms for cracking down hotels that drastically raise prices. At the same time, the public should be educated to actively report unreasonable circumstances in order to stop such selfish business operators.
Uyghur Bible
Co-workers concerned with Uyghur evangelistic ministry established a Uyghur-language website many years ago. Since its launch, the site has received numerous visits and recorded significant download data for both the Old and New Testaments in Uyghur, indicating many souls thirsting for the truth. However, this channel for spreading the Good News has recently faced obstacles. Workers dedicated to the Uyghur popular are striving to find alternative avenues, and have already completed the conversion of the entire Uyghur Bible into a compact digital format for easy storage and distribution. In fact, possessing a printed copy of the Uyghur Bible can present logistical challenges; some believers have expressed a need for the Bible but were unable to receive it due to transportation difficulties.
- Pray for the distribution of the Uyghur Bible, whether in print or digital format, that it may reach the hearts of Uyghurs seeking the truth. Also pray for those who have been devoting their utmost efforts to translating, duplicating, and distributing the Bible.
Gospel Broadcasting
- Audience Interaction: The audience interaction system has been in use for many years, and with rapid updates across various platforms, it has become difficult to identify the root causes when problems arise. May the Lord enable our staff to find suitable products within limited resources that meet our needs.
- Theology Learning: Thanks to our staff’s efforts, there has been an overall rise in website traffic, exam registrations, the number of students receiving awards, and enrolment in the Liangyou Theological Seminary’s program. Pray that God will grant students perseverance to continue their studies.
