Called to Move Forward

“I had been attending church with my mother since primary school, but over more than 10 years, my foundation in faith was never firmly established. When I was 23, I was deeply gripped by a hymn, and from that moment God began to open up my life. By His grace, I gradually stepped onto the path of serving Him. Over nearly twenty years of ministry, I have experienced all kinds of ups and downs, and at times I even wanted to give up. There was also a period when I shut myself away. Yet God allowed me to experience even more of His grace and provision.”

(Sister Au)

  • May the Lord grant Sister Au strength to face the challenges and weaknesses she encounters in ministry. Also, may the Lord enable her to remain faithful to His calling, and continue to lead others to Him with a fervent heart.

Borrowing at a Tap

In recent years, many apps have reached the ceiling of user-growth dividends. As a result, app companies have begun monetizing massive amounts of user data and behavioral scenarios through financial services in order to maintain profit growth. Reporters tested more than twenty commonly used apps covering all aspects of daily life, and found that many of them had built-in loan portals. There are two major models: financial products operated directly by the platform itself, and loan-assistance services that direct users to third-party lenders. Borrowing, once something that required careful consideration, has now become a “convenient tap-away action”. Experts warn that users should “see things for what they are and borrow rationally.” They should never take out loans casually just for small discounts.

  • May the authorities engage with app companies that fail to operate according to proper standards, and require app-based lending services to comply with the law. May they also strengthen public education to help citizens develop sound financial values.

Suddenly Enlightened

“I have been listening to Radio Liangyou for more than ten years, and it has helped me tremendously. It has not only supported my spiritual growth but has also given me very practical help in daily life and in my relationships within the family. I created a group and shared the programs there for brothers and sisters to listen to. In the area of parenting, Liangyou has given me accurate guidance. Children should be brought to Christ from an early age, rather than being taught to regard academic performance as the most important thing. So many things that I did not understand before, I have now learned through Liangyou.”

(Sister Chan)

  • May the Lord grant Sister Chan wisdom and gracious words, helping her remain steadfast in Christ-centered parenting and lead her children to be firmly rooted in the truth.

“Paid Release” of Animals

In some online livestreaming programs, hosts have turned the release of animals into a “business.” The more viewers tip, the more aquatic animals such as soft-shelled turtles and loaches are released. Within just a few minutes, hundreds of soft-shelled turtles were released into tributaries of the Yangtze River. These release activities are clearly priced. A reporter contacted one host, who said that the animals were purchased directly from agricultural markets. Experts pointed out that blind and concentrated release of animals can cause a sudden surge in local populations, triggering fierce competition for survival and disrupting the ecology. If invasive species without natural predators are involved, the food chain may be seriously damaged.

(“China Media Group”, April 4, 2026)

  • May the Lord transform people’s hearts, so that the gospel may reach them and rescue them from the misconception of “earning merit” through such acts. May the authorities work together with livestreaming platforms to strengthen efforts against these businesses that harm the natural environment.

Gospel Broadcasting

  1. AI Integration: To keep pace with the times, Radio Liangyou plans to integrate AI tools into our program management system this year to enhance promotion and curation. Please remember the efforts of our staff and partners.
  2. New LTS Courses: Beginning in March, the new LTS program *The Voice of the Times* has been broadcast, featuring multiple people whose lives have brought changes to the church and to mission work. This would help serving workers reflect on their faith and service. In May, the re-produced program *New Believer Discipleship* will also be broadcast, helping church pastors build a strategic plan for new believers and new life.
