Light of Life

“God has used me to explain the gospel to the deaf. Those 20 and so brothers and sisters are the bittersweet burden God has placed on me. Intelligent yet with limitations, they are eager to learn and study the Bible. Helping the deaf understand the Bible and live it out is the mission God has given me. Being their companion, I have been greatly encouraged. I have learned to teach biblical truths in ways that fit them by using more texts and pictures. More than a decade, many deaf have experienced God’s wonderful grace and have become beautiful testimonies. Their lives have influenced many others. Grateful to see them rooted in Christ.”

(Sister Liu)

  • May the Lord grant Sister Liu patience in explaining the gospel to the deaf enabling her to teach biblical truths in a more effective way. Thank God for using the lives of these brothers and sisters to encourage her. May they be deeply rooted in the Lord.

Shop Exploration

“Shop Exploration” was originally authentic consumer sharing of personal experiences in the internet era helping people avoid pitfalls. This pure motive has gradually been distorted and become a tool of some bloggers and merchants to make profit. Highly standardized scripts, such as “the best value for money”, “insiders’ secrets”, “let me tell you a secret”, are used in videos with every word meticulously crafted to trigger viewers’ trust and purchasing desire. The Procuratorate stipulates that any video content intended to obtain direct or indirect commercial benefits, oriented towards recommending or selling goods or services, and established in a cooperative relationship with the operator shall be labeled an advertisement.

(“Legal Daily”, February 3, 2026)

  • Pray that the authorities will strengthen content rectification to remove videos of “fake explorations genuine advertisements” for personal experience sharing. Platform will provide complaint channels allowing viewers to report misleading commercials.

God’s love is Unfailing

“When I was a child, my grandmother took me to church. Curious about what a church was, I went with her and was deeply attracted by the atmosphere and hymns, and finally got to believe in Jesus. Whenever I felt weak during the journey following Jesus, my grandmother would encourage me. She always read the Bible, sang hymns and prayed together with me. I went far from God after entering secondary school. Looking back, I felt very guilty and rebellious. Going to university, I returned to God because of academic problems. Thank God for accepting me again. Feeling calm in God, I was able to face the challenges and graduated.”

(Sister Xinyi)

  • Thank God for His acceptance and care towards Sister Xinyi. May God bless her studies and enable her to rely on Him. May she grow in the love of God and become a blessing to others.

Hospital Insurance Fraud

A journalist impersonated the applicant for a nursing post carrying out undercover investigations at psychiatric hospitals in Xiangyang and Yichang. It was revealed that several psychiatric hospitals had recruited healthy people to pose as patients and fabricated diagnoses to fraudulently claim medical insurance funds. The National Healthcare Security Administration stated that the healthcare fund was used for medical treatment expenses covering the vital interests of every insured individual. Unscrupulous parties deprived insured individuals of their medical insurance funds by providing ineffective treatments through unlicensed medical practice, leading to serious harms to the health and interests of people.

(“China News”, February 3, 2026)

  • Pray that the authorities strengthen oversight of the healthcare system and medical insurance programs, and punish those who exploit state resources for personal gain. May the Lord awaken the conscience of the medical community, enabling them to operate with integrity.

Gospel Broadcasting

  1. Website Listening: Despite difficulties with the radio station’s website platform in the latter half of last year, the number of downloads for on-demand programs did not decrease throughout the year, and streaming listening hours were even higher than in the past. This is a miraculous work of God, and we offer our thanks to our colleagues for their tireless efforts. We pray that the Lord will protect the smooth operation of the network so that listeners can listen to programs as needed.
  2. Bless the Chinese: Following our collaboration with Far East Indonesia (a.k.a. YASKI), since January of this year, DZAS Radio in the Philippines has added a one-hour Hokkien worship program to its existing Mandarin broadcasts to serve the Hokkien-speaking Chinese community in Manila, Philippines. Please remember the production and broadcast of this program.
