The Lord who Cares
“For thirty years now, God has saved me. When I first believed, my simple hope was that God would heal my eyes. Later, as I came to know the Lord Jesus more, I understood He is the one true God, the Lord who saved my life. Over these many years, through weaknesses and sorrows, God has led me through. Though my eyes were not healed, God has watched over my life; my massage business and other aspects are going quite well. The pastor and brothers and sisters from the church often visit my shop, shepherding my spiritual life and leading me to partake in communion. Currently, my parents strongly oppose my faith and won’t listen when I share the gospel with them. But I still honor my parents, as the Bible teaches me.”
(Brother Wang)
- Pray for the Lord to watch over Brother Wang as he faces his parents’ opposition, that he may stand firm in his faith. Pray for the Lord to strengthen his faith and spiritual life, enabling him to feel the Lord’s protection and support in difficult times.
QR Code Fraud
Recently, over ten restaurants in Beijing fell victim to “ordering scams.” After showing their payment QR codes to “customers,” the restaurants found their accounts drained rather than paid. Scammers call claiming to book a table, then discuss payment via WeChat. They claim the shop’s code isn’t working and ask for another. During a video call, they instruct staff to point the phone at another device’s payment code. Exploiting a loophole in WeChat and Alipay—where the “payment code” (for outgoing funds) is the default screen—the scammers take a quick screenshot to steal funds the moment the merchant switches screens.

May the Lord look upon the industry, which faces enough hardship during economic downturns without being targeted by fraudsters. May the authorities strengthen anti-fraud education and urge payment platforms to fix these vulnerabilities promptly.
Caring Ministry
In a remote mountain region, a young Tibetan believer with theological training has felt a calling to remain in his hometown. Alongside his parents, he shepherds the elderly and infirm believers in his tribe and assists the elderly throughout the village. Recently, he attended an acupuncture class led by an experienced practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). This allowed him to treat his own physical ailments while equipping himself alongside believers from various regions. After completing his training, he traveled to distant mountainous areas to serve and witness to Christ’s love. In those remote places, even a minor illness can require a one-to-two-day journey to find a doctor; serious cases requiring a trip to a major city are even more arduous.
- We give thanks for the dedication of this skilled Chinese medicine practitioner within the body of Christ. Those left behind in the mountains are mostly the elderly and “left-behind” children, who are in great need of such caring ministry. May the Lord provide for the needs of this work, protect the students as they master their skills, and may they spread Christ’s love among the ethnic minorities in remote areas with evangelical fervor.
Gospel Broadcasting
- Thematic Website: Due to the high volume of traffic to the station’s resource library, we reorganize it into smaller, more accessible modules. Currently, the “Devotions & Preaching” website has been launched, aggregating resources with corresponding text. The “Exegesis & Bible Study” website integrates several Bible teaching programs, alongside a dedicated space for listener interaction.
- New Courses: Liangyou Theological Seminary has completed and launched several new courses on schedule. We pray these will be a help to our audience, equipping them to better serve the church the Lord loves. May the Spirit of the Lord guide the participating believers to know Him more deeply.
