Perplexing Adolescence

“I grew up in Sunday school. When I was about to enter high school, I had to return to my hometown school due to my household registration. The new environment and classmates have led to my persistent emotional struggles. I felt that my parents weren’t helping me. Since then, I became reluctant to pray and go to church. Currently I am in college, I feel lost and aimless. I know that I should study hard, but I have no motivation. I have gone to church again during the summer vacation. But I feel very tired afterward, interacting with others drained me even more. There is no reason to be happy, and I feel bad in all aspects. I cannot sleep well, and I once visited a doctor who said it wasn’t depression. I really hope that I will be brightened up. Please pray for me.”

(Sister Xu)

  • Sister Xu has lost motivation in her life. Ask the Lord to revive her inner life and make her become passionate again so that she will know the meaning of life. It is hoped that her body, mind and soul will flourish in the Lord.

Become Light in Workplace

“My job is quite stressful, affecting my emotions and life. I have been considering whether to change companies. But due to the poor overall environment and I dare not make a decision. My introverted personality sometimes makes me timid. Thank God for His provision. The new company I joined is quite good and welcomes newcomers. They provide great opportunities for new employees. It aligns well with my profession and allows me to learn new skills. I am very grateful to God. I hope that I can witness Him in my workplace and influence others at work with a grateful heart. I also want to thank the hosts of Radio Liangyou for giving me guidance and praying for me.”

(Sister Huang)

  • Although Sister Huang has experienced struggles at work, the Lord has prepared the best for her. May the Lord use Sister Huang as a good testimony so that she will be the “light and salt” in the workplace.

Frauds of Winning

Ms. Li received a delivery package containing a winning flyer that prompted her to scan a QR code to claim her prize. Believing she had truly won, she scanned the code and joined a group where members shared that they earn money by completing tasks given out in the group. Ms. Li followed the instructions and did the tasks seriously. After she had successfully obtained a rebate of more than RMB 300, she increased her investment. The customer service asked her to withdraw cash from the bank and send it by delivery to top up. The police received the fraud alert and arrived in time to stop the package. Ms. Li, thus, did not lose her money. Nowadays, scammers have changed their tactics to evade detection, shifting from direct transfers to mailing cash, causing individuals to transfer their assets unknowingly.

(“CCTV News App”, December 6, 2024)

  • May the Lord help the police strengthen their efforts in cracking down on fraud cases and increase the penalties for such crimes to raise the cost for criminals. May relevant departments enhance fraud prevention education so that citizens can recognize scams early and prevent losses before they occur.
