Peak Season for Pneumonia
Winter is the peak season for pneumonia. Its symptoms include cough, shortness or difficulty of breath, fever, descending of appetite, etc. Failure to receive treatment or delay in treatment may lead to death. Pneumonia not only affects lung health, but may also cause serious complications, such as respiratory failure and sepsis, etc. Especially for children and the elderly, their condition would develop more quickly and they must go to hospital as soon as possible. In order to prevent pneumonia, people must first improve their own immunity, develop healthy living habits, do exercises appropriately, have a reasonable diet, and do their best to avoid smoking, drinking, and staying up late.

- May the Lord heal those suffering from pneumonia and protect them from being harmed by bacteria or viruses. It is hoped that people can develop good living habits, pay attention to dietary health, do exercises appropriately, improve their immunity and refrain from bad hobbies.
Oral Bible Translation
Oral bible translation is an important missionary work which translates the Bible by recording, usually without writing involved during the translation. This enables those tribes and ethnic groups without written language to gain effective access to God’s Words and understand the salvation. Many ethnic minorities in China have already had their own written versions of the Bible, but there are still many ethnic groups with a small population that do not have their own Bible. Even if missionaries have completed the translation, they cannot read it because they cannot learn the characters. Printed copies of the Bible cannot be popularized either. The Bible of Bai people is one of these examples. The mission organizations then start the work of oral bible translation for the ethnic minorities. Such bible translation has been completed for many groups in Yunnan.
- Please pray for the co-workers who are engaged in oral bible translation and also for the programs currently being planned to train more oral bible translators. Also pray that the Lord will call ethnic minority believers who have returned to the Lord to actively participate so that more people can hear about the salvation.
Gospel Broadcasting
- Broadcasting Theme: The broadcasting theme of Radio Liangyou in 2025 is “Fasten in Christ, Fruitful in Life!”. The entire growth series has gone through growing, taking root, and trimming, and has come to the stage of “being fruitful”. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5, NIV) “Be fruitful” is the purpose of spiritual growth. The scriptures also provide the secret of being fruitful – connection to Christ.
- Festive Specials: Program teams are planning and producing Christmas and New Year specials, hoping to bring joy and blessings to listeners. Please pray that God will grant our staff wisdom and inspiration so that they can create programs with creativity and vitality based on the needs and interests of different audience groups. Also pray that they will let the audience feel the festive warmth, understand the true meaning of the festivals and experience God’s great love.
