Preaching the Gospel
“My co-workers and I are evangelizing to different cultures in ethnic minority areas focusing on local university students. We go to nearby villages preaching the gospel to the students who return to home during summer holidays. Most of them are ethnic minorities, and it is not easy. Our preaching is not working satisfactorily. We then have collaborated with local churches. This has eased the problem. Our bittersweet encounter has enabled us to experience Paul’s suffering and joy. We are happy because we are working for God. God guides people and prepares their hearts. Gospel seeds have been sown. Pray that the good news will be preached in the region to bless more people.”

Stabilization of Oil Prices
China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has announced that based on recent oil prices in the international market and in accordance with the current pricing mechanism for refined oil products, the prices of domestic gasoline and diesel fuel have been reduced by RMB145 and RMB140 per tonne respectively, with effect from November 6 this year. The drop in oil prices has reduced travelling costs. Since 2024, China’s retail oil prices have been adjusted 22 times, including nine upward adjustments, nine downward adjustments and four shelves. After the US election, some analysts suggest that there is a higher probability of a moderate interest rate cut by the US Federal Reserve, but the global economy is still facing challenges. Oil prices are under pressure, while U.S. reserve collection and the stable oil demand in China may bring benefits.

Be strong in the Lord
“My husband’s business lost a lot of money due to the epidemic a few years ago. He was depressed and did not want to pray. I was so worried about his growth in God. But thank God that I listened to a program on Radio Liangyou during that period learning ways to accompany, help, encourage and comfort my husband. Slowly, he became strong again and started looking for a job. We go to church every Sunday and read the Bible together. Our child has kept praying for his/her father for years, encouraging him to trust in Jesus. Our family has truly experienced God’s amazing grace with tears. We are leading a harmonious life happily despite of financial problems because we live in the peace of God.”

Child Trafficking
The Guiyang Intermediate People’s Court on Friday pronounced death sentence to Yu Huaying who was found guilty of child trafficking and abduction after a retrial. She was stripped of her political rights for life and all her personal assets were confiscated. The verdict was the same as the previous one with some omitted details in the original ruling referring to six more children who were abducted and trafficked, taking the total number of victims to 17. Child abduction cases have seen a decline due to improved social security in recent years. However, there are also new methods to commit crime by making use of training and the internet. Government departments may crack down on the problem and predict the crime trend through advanced technology strengthening departmental co-operation, as well as raise public awareness about child safety.

May the Lord comfort the parents and children who have been traumatized, and give the government wisdom and strength to continue to combat the crime and prevent tragedies from happening. Pray that different sectors of society will work together for the children who deserve our love and respect.
Gospel Broadcasting
- Broadcasting Theme: The broadcasting theme of Radio Liangyou in 2025 is “Fasten in Christ, Fruitful in Life!”. The entire growth series has gone through growing, taking root, and trimming, and has come to the stage of “being fruitful”. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5, NIV) “Be fruitful” is the purpose of spiritual growth. The scriptures also provide the secret of being fruitful – connection to Christ.
- Festive Specials: Program teams are planning and producing Christmas and New Year specials, hoping to bring joy and blessings to listeners. Please pray that God will grant our staff wisdom and inspiration so that they can create programs with creativity and vitality based on the needs and interests of different audience groups. Also pray that they will let the audience feel the festive warmth, understand the true meaning of the festivals and experience God’s great love.
