Expressing Freely
“When I attend gatherings, I often find myself unable to speak up, feeling quite stifled throughout the gatherings. Many can express themselves freely, but I really cannot. I do not dare. I faced various restrictions at home and rarely spoke as I grew up. A few years ago, I attended a Bible study group, I just sit at the door among about a dozen brothers and sisters. I couldn’t voice my thoughts, feeling overwhelmed and suffocated. After six years as a teacher in a tutorial class, my communication skills have improved significantly. I see now that I am not as worthless as my family once claimed. I pray for the Lord to heal me, so that during Bible study groups, I will have the courage to express my own thoughts.”

- Sister Zixin struggles with expressing herself. May the Lord grant her the words to speak during Bible study, bringing her insight and self-awareness in Him.
Supports for Entrepreneurs
The Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau announced that Shanghai is promoting entrepreneurship guarantee loan policies, relaxing application conditions, allowing Shanghai’s young university graduates, aged 35-year-old and below, to apply for personal entrepreneurship guarantee loans even if they have not cleared consumer loans. Additionally, the maximum loan amount has been raised to RMB 5 million. Since June, the Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security and Bureau have revised the “Shanghai Entrepreneurship Guarantee Loan Implementation Measures.” The new policy addresses the most pressing issue for entrepreneurs — financing difficulties — while promoting employment and entrepreneurship.

- May God use this new policy to bring support and hope to entrepreneurs, leading the applying youths to use the loans wisely, making their entrepreneurial dreams beneficial to society, and driving overall employment and economic prosperity.
Touched by the Lord
“The programs on Radio Liangyou helped me establish a correct worldview and values. I started listening in my youth, and it answered many of my questions about faith, significantly aiding my spiritual growth. Now, I often work outside and have fewer opportunities to listen, but I’ve been reading the Bible faithfully for many years. Still, I feel inadequate in understanding and applying biblical interpretation. The Lord has shown me so much grace over the years, loving me steadfastly. I feel that I shouldn’t waste my life but should dedicate more effort to working for the Lord. I feel deeply indebted to Him, knowing that I’m unworthy of His grace. I ask God for mercy and guidance on the path ahead, to be a faithful, wise, and good servant, shining as salt and light for the Lord.”
(Brother Song)
- Brother Song has not been distracted by worldly matters but is focused on serving the Lord, knowing this is a prompting of the Holy Spirit. May God guide him in better applying the Bible in his daily life.
Children’s Smartwatches
Currently, about one in every three children owns a smartwatch, with the rate exceeding 50% in urban areas. These smartwatches, which range from basic models that can make calls to “super watches” that allow adding friends, playing games, watching videos, and taking pictures, are popular among parents who use them to remotely care for their children, having video calls or tracking their locations. Although smartwatches help parents monitor their children, some children with weaker self-control become addicted to the watches’ functions, distracting them from learning. Moreover, smartwatch systems can be easily altered, and children’s limited understanding of technology can lead to excessive authorization, posing a risk of private information leakage.

May the authorities ensure thorough oversight of children’s electronic products, removing inappropriate apps and addressing privacy risks. May the Lord also help parents spend more time with their children and teach them the correct values in using smartwatches responsibly.
