The Path of Growth
“My daughter is about to enter senior high school; and, she is at the age of puberty. She has a strong desire for fun and has been indulged in video games. I have used different ways to teach her, but she does not listen. I am very angry and don’t know how to communicate with her. It seems that all kinds of things can attract her except that she cannot focus on her study. I have tried to contact Radio Liangyou and the program host has told me that there is something wrong with my approach of education. The host notes that I should live a life of Christ in my family so as to influence my child and that I should not just focus on her academic performance, but also identify with her psychological response. This has let me enlightened suddenly and direct me how to accompany my daughter in her path of growth.”
(Sister Lu)
- May the Lord grant Sister Lu wisdom. Pray that she can help her daughter grow up, free from video game control, and lead her to know the Lord, follow the right path, and focus on her studies.
After My Change
“We always quarrel with each other even we have got married for ten years. I am unable to figure out why my husband’s life is like this as he has believed in Jesus. I have asked my pastor for help. In this process, I have found that the major reason for my marital problem rests with myself. I have tried to change and also prayed for our marriage. Thanks to God’s grace. Our relationship is constantly improving and becomes much better than before. I used to make a resolve to improve my marital relationship, thinking that if it has improved, I could help other people with their marriage problems. But I have found that I could not do it at all on my own. When I turn to God and entrust myself to Him completely, God’s wonderful guidance creates a very good effect on my family. This has made me particularly want to use my personal experiences to witness God.”
(Sister Zhang)
- When Sister Zhang is willing to humble and change herself, God brings much improvement to her marital relationship. May God use Sister Zhang’s testimony to help those in need.
Gospel Broadcasting
- Power Unlimited: Looking back our history, our colleagues wrote a hymn, “Power Unlimited”, for Liangyou’s 75th anniversary. Our founder once went to the Philippines to apply for a broadcasting license. The Philippine government granted the official approval of “Power Unlimited” to our transmitting station. This is not just because the broadcast power of our radio station is unlimited, but also because God is the God of Power Unlimited, who is full of unlimited powers.
- Members-Only Platform: In order to manage the use of platform more effectively, Liangyou Theological Seminary has divided the self-study platform according to functions since June. Now, learners can still listen to our programs freely without registration. In addition, a new members-only platform has been established exclusively for registered users. Registered users are allowed to use this specific platform to do the tests and to connect with the seminary. May the Lord protect all these platforms.
